Not certain if you picked it up or not from the commentary, but the Dr. Whitehall at the end is the same guy as the Nazi leader from the beginning of the show with Agent Carter. That's why when his henchman remarks about how long he's been looking for the obelisk, he replies, "You have no idea".

Some interesting facts. Creel (absorbing man) is the boxer that Matt Murdock’s (daredevil) dad beat that lead to his death. What I love about this show is every action has consequences. Fitz last season literally had no oxygen to his brain for a long time when they got out of that box. You don’t just walk away from that without any effect on your brain. It was so heartbreaking when we saw the reveal.

I did! Sorry, I think since he popped back up at the end of the episode, I started to wonder if I should be recognizing him from a previous movie or something like that 😅Especially since they had Agent Carter &amp; Cap's other buds along in that first scene. Appreciate you keeping me on track, though!!

I loved that they hinted at the Reveal with Fitz. Like in the Scene on the Plane where they'r having a confo or when May is in the Lab with Fitz and is not responding to Siimons.

The scene where Fitz is watching Kennig (sp?) lead analysis there are shots where you can clearly see Fitz is by himself. They cut from "Simmons" with her hand on his shoulder to a shot of him entirely alone. Great stuff. Also John I'm not sure you realized this buy Whitehall looks exactly the same as in the scene that takes place at the top with Peggy Carter (in WW2 times).

Gahhh that reveal broke my heart a little. Excited for a future re-watch when I can go back and pick up those little visual clues.. I feel so bad for him in context, but really loving what they've done with Fitz this season.

Ahhh no way!! I thought he looked a wee bit familiar haha. And YES! I think that's one of my very favorite aspects of the show - the way every action &amp; significant detail carries some sort of weight or consequence. And often the biggest, trickiest questions (like how did Coulson come back?!) become big narrative thrusts rather than details to be brushed past. Very much appreciate how much the writing staff is willing to really work with what's come before.

Ahhh, good ol' Koenig 😂Appreciate you pointing these moments out tho! I was saying this to Flux above haha, I'm excited to go back at some point and look for all the little visual clues I might've missed for that particular storyline - creative framing, characters interacting with Fitz but not Simmons, etc. And YES! I maybe didn't react as strongly as I could've, but definitely caught that Whitehall is creepily the same age 😅😰

I'm surprised nobody else pointed it out, but in the beginning scene with Peggy, they are confiscating all the crazy items they found in the Hydra base. Dum Dum was ABOUT to open a box, but Peggy closed it down. Both didn't get to see inside it, but the camera zooms in for a couple frames just so the viewer can catch a glimpse of what's inside. It's none other than the alien corpse that created the GH serum that was used on Coulson and Skye. Thay corpse has been around for a while! 😅

To answer your question about agent Carter and agents of shield I would suggest watching agent Carter before starting season 7 for sure! They do crossover then and it makes more sense if you’ve seen both seasons of agent Carter by that point:).
