Enjoyed your reaction. Yep the Fitz episode. But I like to think of it as a FitzSimmons part two because it explores both of them outside their comfort zones of the lab. What I find interesting about Fitz is even though he has shown hesitation about being in the field in previous episodes he proved himself very capable of adapting to situations. While Simmons who wanted to leave the lab failed so miserably at adapting. I really enjoy this episode for its unusual pairing of Skye and Simmons and Fitz and ward. We get to see the episodes build more of a complete family dynamic like you said. Funny enough I want you to remember that next episode lol.

Agent Sitwell was in Captain America Winter Soldier after his appearance here and he also was in Endgame in the remake of the elevator scene from Winter Soldier. So glad your enjoying the show so far it’s my favorite show I’ve watched but I can’t wait for you to make it to Level 7 with the show!

Also like to point out that Skye literally came from a background about not trusting the system so she’s not going to be quick to change that part of her personality. Coulson probably took years to trust this system.

Thanks, mate! I like that way of looking at it - like a special two-parter, in a way, for Simmons & Fitz. And that's a great point! Hadn't quite connected those dots, but yeah that's a fun contrast with Fitz surprisingly rising to the occasion out in the field vs. Simmons... having that hallways exchange 😅 Good call too on the unusual pair-ups. I love when shows take the time to do things like that n sorta mix around the ensemble. And duly noted haha, will definitely have the family vibes in mind walking into the next episode. Thanks as always for your thoughts & insight!! 😊

Ahhhhhh, theeeere we go! Seeing him in Endgame recently, then, must've been what I was immediately thinking of. Excited to get deeper into this, but I'm glad you're enjoying so far. I wasn't sure if this would ultimately be my cup'a tea, but so far I've been having a blast. QUITE excited to keep movin' up the ranks!! 😊

Thiiiiiiiis is true. For sure. I guess I was maybe taken aback given some of the developments in recent episodes, but you're probably right - a probationary bracelet isn't exactly going to make her turn an eye when something seems off, especially at Crazy-Secret-SHIELD-Hubquarters...

Agent Sitwell and Agent Blake from the previous episode were actually in the Marvel One Shots that are in canon of the MCU. A couple featured Clark Gregg and Agent Sitwell, and the one in the first Avengers featured Sitwell and Blake. Finding out Sitwell was Hydra was a bit sad because I was watching the show live and keeping up with the One Shots that came with all the Marvel movies up to Iron Man 3. I think they stopped after that. It was REALLY cool that they brought characters from the One Shots into the show. It made sense since they were agents. I was so psyched to see Sitwell in The Winter Soldier, and actually very audibly groaned in the movie theater when Sitwell was revealed to be Hydra. And then for him to die so violently...it was bittersweet!
