Grrr! Why'd I have to see this at the end of my lunch break! Back to work we go. At least I have something to look forward to when I get off at midnight 😑

Aw, nooo!! 😣 but at least you'll get to enjoy it when you don't have to worry about work anymore for the day!

The scene between Dean and Bobby is one of my favorites. Also the human forms demons appear in can change anytime. They’re just possessing human bodies after all. Their true form is that smoke monster shapeless thing. Remember the last encounter with the cross-roads demon? The demon escaped that girl’s body to avoid dean and that girl became scared and was like “where am I?!” SHE wasn’t the crossroads demon, she was just being possessed by the demon. And “meg” possessed Sam in episode 14 of this season. This lore rule also works if they need a new actress/actor lmao, but if nothing happens to destroy their meat suit or if they don’t get exorcised, they can pretty much stay in whatever human body they want for as long as they want. So in this episode that was the same demon, she was just in a different body that she possessed.

Ahhhh okay, appreciate the clarifier! Definitely slipped my mind that she left that girl's body in the crossroads episode. Continuity re-established! lol And YES, the Bobby/Sam scene was such a fantastic moment. Just the acting going on between those two & especially Bobby. Really glad my man got some time to shine - and drop a li'l sense along the way!

I'm so excited for season three. It has a couple of my favorite episodes. Just keep in mind that this was during the writers strike. Fun fact: Did you guys notice that when Dean said "We've got work to do" at the end of the episode when he closed the trunk of the car that it was the same thing Sam said and did at the end of their first episode? I thought it was nice way to bookend both seasons.

Damn haha, can't remember if Greg caught it, but I think I definitely missed that nod - that's so cool, though! Actually just went back and re-watched both scenes just now haha. Very cool way to bookend the seasons, as you said. Really been enjoying season 3 so far! Just did the rabbit's foot episode this past weekend!

Jensen and Jeffrey Dean Morgan filmed that end scene together, but Jared wasn't there due to re-writes. When they changed their minds what they wanted to do at the end, JDM wasn't able to come back for a re-shoot so Sam had to be shot separately. I feel it's a shame with viewers who come on board so late, as things like these character deaths lose their impact. At the time, nobody knew if Sam would be coming back (SPN was on the verge of cancellation for the first 3 seasons, so it could well have been the end). Hence, lots of tears. Especially as Jensen's acting is so good in those scenes. Except for season openers and finales, you should really skip the "previously on" bits, as they are often spoilerish for the upcoming episode (showing a previous character or event can clue you in that this episode is going to be concerning a specific topic, thus ruining any twist)

*Dean gets given one year to live* Greg: obviously they're going to resolve that. SPN: LOL nope 🤣
