Yeah this episode does have a lot of flaws not sure how you will react to the last episode of the season. However the lack of context and info about the demon's plan is much bigger than you think. The demon's plan comes full circle in the next 2 seasons. Like you said it was the execution and little bit of the writing made this episode flat.

Hey guys, great reaction as always. Have a bit of something to ask. I don't watch SPN on Netflix so timing it up to your video is next to impossible if there isn't a tiny bit of volume that tells me how to line it up. It wasn't a problem in the past, but something has changed and this is the second episode where I had to watch the highlights because I just couldn't line it up. Anyway, I'm just telling you this in case it's at all possible for you to make the volume just loud enough that I can hear it when my own volume is turned all the way up, so that I can continue to watch along with you on the full version. Puppet.

I always thought that they each had the potential for the same powers (remember when Sam used telekinesis) to move that cabinet to save Dean? I guess they just got the powers that matched their personality best at first. Like Ava said, the more open you are to it, the more you can do. It's never said, but I always thought getting them to kill each other was a way to distance themselves from their humanity by murder. Yeah, episode has some writing flaws and it probably should have led to a two part finale instead of being part of it, but it sets a lot of important stuff up. Love you guys!

Whew! Glad it's not just us on this one 😅fascinated to see how the plan grows over time, though!

Hey, Annie!! Really sorry about the trouble there. Do the episodes have the recap where you're watching from? I know in this stream-along we kept some pretty loud show audio in for the first handful of seconds (from around the 0:30 - 0:38 second mark of this video) just as the time code shows up.. We can try for a longer passage in future. Or if your episodes don't have recaps, we can try n add some show audio back in when the actual episode begins after the recap.. Either way, we always try to leave some audio in to help you guys out - sorry it's not been doing the trick on your end, but we'll see what we can do to make it smoother for you! Appreciate the feedback & glad you're still enjoying the vids despite this issue. Hope you're well! :)

Thanks for getting back to me, I really appreciate it. I have the recaps, the problem is there's a change from the Netflix version and the one I see. Every scene change I fall 3 seconds or so behind. It's not really an issue, I've gotten used to hopping around to sync it up, but it just isn't possible without sound. If you can do anything, that'd be great. If not, then there's always the highlights, if it's necessary :)

Yeah this episode wasn't that great. It has a cool concept and l liked what they did with Ava but it was a bit disappointing just felt like they were cleaning up. The biggest nuggets are the fact that the mom knew Azazel and that end scene. The end scene I watched when it was in season 4 or 5 but I still felt the emotion. After all, sure the characters can come back, but there's always steep consequences. And Dean lost his brother in that moment, even though we know there's 13 more seasons.

Agree, kinda a boring episode even though some important info/things happen like the Roadhouse burning/Ash dying, Sam has demon blood, his mom knew Azazel (YED), a leader is needed, and Sam dies.
