Surprised there's no other comments for this episode. I'm glad you liked it easily top 5 Supernatural episode for me. It's just such a cool concept it's like a perverted twist on "A Wonderful Life" and I'm always a sucker for alternate reality episodes. I also remember feeling like "Yeah, this is definitely as much a Dean show as it is a Sam show" after watching it. Really putting the spotlight on Dean and how he has been feeling. That graveyard seen is tough, and the emotions Jense shows during the scene where his family is trying to make him stay are also very heavy. You can see the conflict. I also really like the little piano notes playing in that scene. The title of this episode is also perfect.

Steve is right; how are there no comments on this ep? Maybe they got lost because this is one of the best episodes of the series. Or because it’s hard to put into words everything wonderful about the episode, I love how much you laughed when Alternate reality Sam says to Dean “ What are you calling me a bitch for?” One of my favorite lines.
