yes! My favorite episode. I do love how fearless this show is in transitioning the roles of characters, particularly with All Might/Toshinori as you pointed out. I feel like there are a lot of animes out there with hundreds of episodes that fear changing characters and their roles in the stories for fear of the audience's change of opinion and so on, but I really feel like MHA is trying to keep that aspect realistic. People do noticeably change and sometimes drastically, even with the subtle art changes showing them physically growing. I think that's one of the things that helped me keep up with this show, because I knew I wouldn't be watching a bunch of the same over and over. Again, I'm so thankful you fullfilled my request of watching this show and have stuck with it! So so grateful, loved the reaction!

Appreciate you catching that, mate!! And all things considered, I suppose that's a pretty decent punishment 😅

Aw, I'm really glad to hear that, dear!!! Thank YOU for sending us on such an engrossing & imaginative journey! Really appreciate that aspect of growth & aging here. I think my favorite example of that in this episode was with Bakugo simply because this feels like the most we've ever really seen inside of him. Can definitely see why this would be your favorite. Getting down & personal with the show's yin & yang. And yeah, really love the subtle shifts in animation over time too. Really hope they keep this up and allow the characters to keep morphing & coming of age and all that. Thanks for stickin' with us!! 😊

"All Might was my hero, but you were the one actually in my life!" The delivery of that line always gets me in my feelings. The best thing about My Hero Academia fights is that they're all about character development. The punch is never as powerful as the meaning behind it. With that said, this is the one time they actually emphasized fight choreography. When two people are familiar with each other the way these two are, it makes sense for a more complex fight to take place. It might not hold the weight of Midoriya vs Todoroki for me, but I appreciate how vulnerable Bakugo was when venting out his frustrations. It was a rare moment where we actually get to hear him speak his mind and he showed there's so much potential with where his character can go.

Oh yeah, man! Punched me right in the heart as well with that line. You can really feel how badly Midoriya just wants to be friends with Bakugo. And I gotta say that vulnerable moment at the end is definitely one of my favorite for Kacchan. Really rewarding to see him actually grow and open a little. And I can see what you mean about the fights. I feel like they've done a fair amount of insane visual choreography over time, but it does make sense that the choreography would be most deliberate & intimately mapped in a fight like this because it is all about them sorta both reading one another. I also really appreciate how the less Bakugo has changed over time, the more the world around him starts to react to his attitudes & character traits; and now that that's happening more, it seems like his character's slowly starting to grow/open in a meaningful way. Makes me appreciate the journey here with him more.

it always gets to me watching this. We've seen Midoriya cry....a lot lol so when Bakugo does it, whose normally so fearless, it definitely made you feel more for him.
