For Bradley to lose that fight he needed to take a sword to the gut, get shot in the shoulder, lose one of his eyes, and get blinded by the glare of the sun. It took a lot to make it a fair fight, but boy was it amazing. Scar's words just carry so much weight with me. The fight against Bradley and the inner monologue where he's speaking to his brother are defining moments in this character arc that started back in episode 4. This was his moment of truth and we got to see which way he flowed. I love Scar lol Kimblee got to take his final bow. They spoke briefly earlier in the series about souls having trouble maintaining their individuality when they're in a pool with other souls. Kimblee's explanation wouldn't have worked for any other character in the series, but I buy it from him. He has no problem maintaining his individuality because he thrives in chaos and misery. He only stepped in because Pride betrayed himself, which goes back to a conversation we had a while back about characters that have their own unique motivations that just happen to align them with a particular side. Great episode and it's not gonna stop lol

Yes another excellent episode! Now you see why the scar/wrath fight is my favorite. Intense from start to finish even with cuts in between. God and it’s so rewarding that Hohenheim and scar’s brother’s plans paid off! It also makes me sadder rewatching the beginning because of how much Ed hates him for leaving, thinking he had abandoned them, but in reality he was planting philosopher’s stones across the country. And wrath’s dying monologue was just *chef’s kiss*. The next episode is incredible. Have the tissues ready for these final 3 you’ll need them!
