The moment manga readers waited for so long to see animated. Erwin's voice actor was AMAZING and the Beast Titan theme goes so well with that final speech. Easily in my top 5 favourite episodes of the show so far.

I think something we also forgot is that all of these new scouts are teenagers fresh out of recruitment and they are thrown into this which makes the last scene so devastating

Not only are those scouts heading to their deaths for a chance that Levi can kill the beast titan, but all the scouts who have sacrificed their lives before this are weighing down on them. For all their sacrifices to be meaningful and worth something it all comes down to the new recruits and Erwin, who are also sacrificing them selfs, so Levi can kill the beast titan and hopefully not lose the battle.
