Hey Greg I wanted to echo that The Walking Dead has truly recovered in a way I have never seen any show do. Never have I seen a show become that poor and then get back to a level it was at it's peak. Maybe even higher.

Mics sound great! 100% agree on the Texas Chainsaw franchise just stopping! The first and the reboot were the only decent ones and there really isn't much more you can do with that story/character! Thank you guys for the awesome discussion! I think Breaking Bad gets a pass because, as long as it focuses on Jesse, we gotten any closure on that character. Game of Thrones sounds like a greater exploration of the world both being thousands of years before the events of the show when most of the myths and heroes of legend were doing their thing! But you're definitely right that as long as something makes money they WILL make another whether the art suffers or not!

That's all I hear! It's definitely got the both of us curious to check it back out again. I know we were both pretty moved during the Rick exit episode, despite some aspects. Dunno if either of us would be able to hop back on soon, but as things open up I gotta imagine that curiosity will get the better of us at some point haha

I never thought I would’ve said this a few months ago but Rick leaving might’ve been the best thing to happen to TWD (in terms of quality not ratings lol).

Glad you approve - and thank you for the awesome topic! :) I always sentimentally enjoy a Texas Chainsaw outing, but they're kind of a letdown these days 😅 1, 2, and the remake are the ones I've enjoyed most. And yeah, I think we'll keep cautiously optimistic for Breaking Bad & GoT... maybe Breaking Bad a little moreso, just because of the consistency and the fact that they'd be focusing on Jesse rather than Walt.. seems appropriate haha. Game of Thrones, I get a little wary of massively expanding beyond the source material, but it's definitely a world with a lot to offer, so keeping curious. It's always conflicting haha, because on the one hand it's exciting to get more of something awesome, but it's also scary sometimes to watch the quality change 😅 either way, hoping some of these upcoming ones turn out well!
