Not too much to discuss in this episode. I do love the irony of Gluttony being eaten alive though. I also really appreciate how everyone gets to do something in this fight. Fuu leads Ed to Pride and provides the flash bombs. Darius can't do much with his lack of vision, but is still able to take Al to safety when the opportunity came up. Hoenheim didn't look happy to see his son unconscious either lol Mustang and the gang together will always be satisfying to me. They move as such a good unit that you know something great is going to happen. Mustang and Hawkeye got freedom during the middle part of the series to be independent from each other, but their chemistry together is something special. I think Olivier is annoyed by how stupid everyone at that table is because to her it's obvious what Mustang's move would be. It's also a pretty good idea to be forthcoming with information considering she probably doesn't have their full trust. She did kill General Raven after all. Olivier doesn't flinch in high pressure situations. Her exterior gives off this sense of brute force, but I think it's her tactical prowess and ability to lead that make her stand out from other characters.

This show is pretty great at handling the ensemble - both in the sense that everybody gets something to do and the fact that the characterizations are so distinct. They manage some great chemistry across the different characters. And yes haha, also appreciated Gluttony's ironic sendoff - still feel a liiiiittle bad for him since he's only just come back to life lol LOVE the buildup with this half of the Mustang story - it weirdly inspiring to see him and the crew preparing to make their moves & meeting in secret. And yeah, Mustang and Hawkeye together is something pretty special, especially given the distance of their current situation. And I think that's a pretty good assessment of Olivier. She definitely seems like the sharpest person at the table and a bit exasperated by everyone else. Like she's wary over the master plan, but also unimpressed by the idiots working to bring it to fruition haha. Smart to earn/keep their trust by playing along - and I bet in the back of her mind she's probably thinking that if Mustang gets caught or this goes sour, it's his own damn fault lol - especially if, as you said, his next move would be pretty obvious. Lookin' forward to the next!!
