I would def agree that when Saitama is not on screen I am not as interested. I think one of the reasons, that actual heroes are playing it straight , so theres no comedy involved until Saitama gets in the picture . I just dont think the show is good enough to be that serious dramatic show without Saitama. It helps that the character designs for side characters are really good , but thats it.

2021-07-15 05:16:02 That's a good point, yeah. The humor & irony seems inherent to Saitama and that creates the magic of the show - and separates it from the rest of the more straight-forward superhero stuff. Definitely some great animation to back the rest up, though!!!
