Wow, again, I'm glad I rewatched this episode. First time, I was in the middle of binge-watching the whole season (at 1 am) and I remember almost falling asleep during this one because it is quite uneventful. So much deep stuff here actually! Ep.12 is technically the "mid-season finale" and the second half will return in April this year. I personally can't wait for it because it is the best arc in AoT imo. Also, since you seemed interested in learning more about Levi's backstory, would you consider watching the OVA called "No Regrets"? It's a two-parter which gives us more young Levi and a bit of Erwin. Actually, I would encourage you to watch all the OVA's as well cause I need my weekly Greg x AoT lol

Im pretty sure the first king was both Rod and Uri's dad. Then was passed down to Uri and so on, until Eren got it. Riner, Bhertolt, Annie and the beast titan, for what ever reason, want that power (the coordinate). Well from the end scene we can see that the beast titan wants it more than Riner and Bhertolt since they want to go and save Annie; the beast titan said 'i won' and that they will wait there for the coordinate. Basically Riner and the beast titan had a fight to decide if they should save Annie first or wait for the coordinate.

I'm glad you got more out of it this time!! Feel like it's got me appreciating the more philosophical/character-oriented aspects of this season more. It's gonna be hard to wait for April haha. Would consider checking out some OVA's, potentially.. how many are there and where would I watch them?

There are 8 in total I believe, and I'm not sure if you can watch them "legally" e.g. Crunchyroll. OVA's are normally released only in Japan but you can find them on the Internet of course. (Guess I've been exposed 😐)
