Yeah, I feel ya. Normally I don't like that kind of overtly-pop-oriented shift on a song like this.. so I guess in that way I'm a bit surprised I enjoyed it as much as I did, butI can certainly see what it wouldn't be your cup'a tea. I think the main detractor for me is just the alluring approach to the singing haha. Just seems to clash with The Grinch overall.
