Thanks for your question, STEPH WILLIAMS!!!

What do y'all think? Do you think something like a Riverdale would've been better off along the lines of the original source material? Or have you welcomed the change?!

...and what are some other dark reboots of once-wholesome properties???

I'm one episode into Sabrina and I watched the Melissa Joan Hart show a lot but I enjoyed what I've seen so far! It makes me a little uncomfortable haha but that is to be expected!

I've always wanted to see a live action re imagining of Danny Phantom that took a slightly more mature take on the world. I mean, the whole story is about a teenage boy accidentally walking into his parents portal to a ghost dimension, where he becomes a hybrid of half ghost half human. And not only does he have to deal with high school, as well as everything socially awkward about early high school, but he has to deal with trying to control these scary really intense ghostly abilities. And on top of all that, the portal became a constant door between the ghost zone and the human world, so he now is forced with the responsibility of catching all the ghosts who escaped and placing them back into the ghost zone. It could definitely fit a slightly dark, yet morally uplifting pg 13 film series. Or even a show. Some of the crazy shit you could do with the ghosts would be exciting as well.

Haha a little discomfort's not always a bad thing 😜I have yet to start it, but perhaps over the holidays when I can just chill with it & take it in. Feel like I got a little Sabrina growing up, but probably not enough that a re-contextualization would fuck me up too hard lol. Excited to see what they came up with!

Haha I think it's because of my religious roots. Some of the Satan stuff gets me a little uncomfortable. I could usually push past it but this show is a little different about it. But I will get through it! Don't want to elaborate without spoiling anything so I won't :P It sounds like you are going to relax and have some "chill"ing adventures with Sabrina over the holidays!

Not bad!! I always wind up admiring your creativity haha - keep that up!! Funny enough, at least as you've described it here, with a little adapting I could kinda see this working out! Especially for a PG-13 level series. I've never seen much of the show, but from the little I do know about it, I bet the look would be cool and you could probably get some pretty fun/effective fantasy/scare elements in there with the ghost world and all that. ...now you just gotta work your way up the Hollywood ladder so you can start greenlighting these things!!! lol

LOL A+ pun-work, my friend. I'm curious to see how the show does it, but I can definitely relate to that haha. I'm not so much "religious" anymore, so to speak, but coming up Catholic and going to church & studying the bible for so many years, Satanic/Witchy/Demonic stuff always gets me a little extra. Fascinated to see how they'll handle now, reading this!

Thank you my dude! Puns are life! The worse the better! But, Yeah, I definitely grow a lot since then but sometimes when somethings a little Hail Satany, it tickles that little spot in the back of my head that says "NO NO NO" lol
