Aw yeah my favorite intro song lol I appreciated this episode a lot. Gran Torino is a great addition to the cast , and I love how he got Deku to realize the flaws in his thinking. The transition has definitely been completed too. The second half of the season is in full swing and there's not going to be a lot of wasted time before shit hits the fan again.

Oh, awesome!! Yeah, that new OP definitely grabbed our attention. Would love to check out the video! Can't guarantee a reaction ASAP, but I'll add it to my list. And that's awesome about the ED haha. Would love to see them try the characters out in more time periods and aesthetics. Was a real nice surprise to end-off the episode.

Haha yesss! Definitely enjoying Gran Torino so far as well - it's a well titled episode haha.. "Bizarre..." but really looking forward to seeing more of him. Loved the way they approached their rapport and the way he's bringing that growth out of Midoriya already. Really been enjoying the different arcs and phases this show goes through as well and oddly, I've found myself especially excited for this one. And especially with them all divided up now, I can see time as being more of-the-essence. Goood stuff!!

Yay! Finally my favorite intro and outro! I'd fallen behind on these reactions and just binged. It was so much fun. I also agree with you guys that the show is getting cooler. I love that this show really really focuses on smaller things that other animes usually shrug off, like ALL the aspects of being a hero, not just flashy abilities. I also thoroughly enjoy the slow but sure character development that goes on. I'm watching season 3 now and it hasn't dissapointed me even once. I also noticed, along with you guys, that the artist for the series is really good at showing the students slowly growing physically as well. Like thinking back to the first few episodes, a lot of them somehow looked more like kids and they're looking a bit more grown as the show goes on. But I can never pin point where its happening, which just makes a good statement on the hidden subtleties of the show.

Yesss haha, glad we made it!! Definitely caught us off guard when it started, but I think these are the coolest OP &amp; ED so far. And that stuff, the way they've been approaching the different aspects of being a hero (and the order they've chosen to do that in so far) has been really rewarding. Love the challenge toward Bakugo from Best Jeanist and stuff like the spiritual context of One-For-All. I feel like this show started out kinda like the characters - light and fun and now it's growing into something bigger. And I think this is the first show that's really had me take note of that - the way the characters physically grow and look subtly more mature over time. Same, I can't quite tell *how* they're achieving that effect (whether it's subtly in the animation or just in the themes and stuff, or both), but that's a nuance I definitely found impressive, especially this episode. Glad you had some time to catch back up and looking forward to continuing onward!!!

Alot of the characters are wearing costumes. Certain things are part of their quirk but other things are part of their costumes.

I love this intro. And Gran Torino’s introduction was perfect to me! I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t excited for you to react to the next 3 episodes. What did you think about the green lightning?

Yesss, the new OP definitely grabbed us both, I think. Got a huge kick out of Gran Torino's intro as well haha - very much in tune with the title of the episode. This new arc has me pretty darn excited, so safe to say I'm looking pretty well forward to the next few as well! And the green lightning!! I think I was a little overcome in the moment, but... it's a pretty great moment! I suppose I kinda took the green lightning to be the embodiment of Midoriya's true power in combination with One For All - at least because so much of his stuff is green haha. Suffice to say I can't wait to see what he does with it!!
