The second OP is pretty good, tho not as iconic as the first one overall. And maaan, I forgot about Ling. I really liked him , he is a fun character to watch. Just the antics and how he gets away with everything lol. And also that interrogation scene with barry the chopper. When Mustang asked about who Killed Hughes, I liked that dark one side shading, I feel like that might imply Mustang is on a revenge run possibly. But yeah good episode overall, tho Lings english VA is a bit jarring to me , lol. It's not what I expected

Oh damn.. I'm gonna have to go back and check out the original audio track haha. I remember initially having to adjust to Ed's voice in the jump from the Japanese to the English. Was definitely cool to get some new characters tho - and at least from the outset, Excited to see how Ling develops tho! Can definitely see the potential for him to become a pretty fun foil for the show, add a new dimension to the tone, overall. And yes!! Really dug the way they depicted that interrogation sequence. Certainly get some hints of both the ambition and some revenge in his motivation there. Seems like a pretty personal mission for him at the very least. I was gonna say haha, it's gonna be hard to replace the original theme in my head, but I dug the vibe of the new song. Perhaps I'll keep it in the next couple if there's not a pre-opening scene, just to get acquainted 😝

This episode is a bit of an expositional episode, but I appreciate it at this point in the story. Especially the quick geography lesson. I cannot wait for you to find out more of Scar’s background. Also, As for post-credit scenes, here’s a list of future episodes that have them: 28 29 30 32 33 36 40 42 43 44 46 48 49. That way you can know going in!

Yeah, it seems like they're setting up a lot of the new plot threads, but I didn't mind so much. Like you said, given where we are, I get why it's necessary. And the geographical stuff I always really appreciate as well. Just helps the fantasy world feel that much more tangible. Love the little glimpses we've been getting with Scar as well - the more things progress the more eager I'm getting to see what role he plays in the bigger picture, because at least right now, it seems like he's gonna be pretty significant to the show overall (rather than just being another baddie). Also -- thank you SO much for putting this list together!! I name-checked you in the next episode haha, but I've bookmarked this list so I can refer to it as I go. 😊 Good to see your avatar again, dear!! Hope you're doing well!
