I'm so glad to see you return to the show after the Comic Con chaos. Your reactions are always a great balance between providing commentary and focusing on what's happening on screen. It's this quality, among many others, that makes you and John the only reactors I can enjoy watching on a consistent basis. As for the episode, "intense" is right. Like you, I too love the specific way Gordon articulates his face. I haven't seen Ben McKenzie act in anything other than this, so I'm not sure if this is a trademark of his, or a conscious character choice. Either way, it adds a ton of dimension to his performance. As for Fish Mooney, I was never a fan of Jada Pinkett Smith's acting, but I feel she works well in the context of Gotham. Finally, I do love it whenever they can work in Zsasz into an episode. He never ceases to make the most of every second of screen time he's alloted.

Why thank you Kyle! Always a pleasure to read a comment from you, my friend :) And yeah, happy to be continuing this show! It's something I very much look forward too! And I honestly have only seen an episode or 2 of Ben McKenzie from the OC so I'm not sure at all if that's just the way he acts or if it's specifically tuned for the comic book world of Gotham but it for sure works here

And I like seeing a fair assessment of Fish Mooney. It's understandable if you're not a fan, but it's cool that you can at least acknowledge that she works well for the show itself. And whoever that dude is that plays Zsasz is great! Would love to see his character brought to the big screen specifically cause of the portrayal here :))

The actor’s name is Anthony Carrigan. Fun facts: The hairless aesthetic is due to an autoimmune disease called Alopecia Areata. He guest starred in two episodes of CW’s The Flash. Victor Zsasz made a short cameo as an Arkham prisoner in Batman Begins. Good stuff. ;)

The moment with Falcone at the club is of my favorite moments of the entire show. This episode defined Carmine as an absolute beast but values honor above all else. His love for Liza means nothing compared to his feeling of betrayal by Fish. Carmine even apologizes for what he has to do because he will not sustain traitors in his organization.
