thanks, guys!! i definitely agree that i want to get a sense of style from this new trilogy. i feel like homecoming was too focused on showing off that spidey was finally coming to the mcu and wasn’t able to center its vision on something for itself. though i’d argue that a big part of that was iron man and the chitauri tech aesthetics making the style feel more like an iron man film or avengers 1. personally, i’d really love to see more of the peter parker side of his life. tom holland and the rest of his “classmates” have amazing chemistry, and having more aunt may would be awesome too. as for villains, i can sense (spidey sense??) that they’re trying to slowly form the sinister six with all the rumors that have been popping up, but i guess we’ll just have to see!

No problem, dear!! That's a good point about the Iron Man/Chitauri Tech aspects. Almost feels like Sony requested an Avenger to chaperone their hero while the MCU borrows him for a day 😝 Would definitely be interested in seeing more of the Peter Parker side of things. Not that we didn't get any in Homecoming, but the Raimi films and the Marc Webb films both seemed to have a strong Parker element to them - and more Aunt May would certainly be welcome as well! Curious about the Sinister 6 idea. Seems like the various "powers that be" have been wanting to make that happen for a while and you'd certainly gain another potential member in Mysterio. Would definitely want them to take their time in building that, but generally I think it would be interesting to see the team-up movie in reverse; Suicide Squad technically attempts this, but to see one central hero having to tangle with an alliance of villains could be cool. I think the trickiest part of that is just the fact that we've seen a good amount of that team across the different versions of the films, so maybe borrowing from a few of the different S6 storylines to get a slightly different character variety could be cool. Not exactly DYING to see that plotline right away, but I feel like the MCU could find a way to make it work. Either way, fingers crossed for Far From Home!!
