Reminds me of my first Google hangout. You asked me what I thought of him and I reacted the same way, though a little drunker and maybe a little more heated, lol

I definitely love him as a film maker and I truly believe that he's a good person. Did he say some things that he shouldn't have said, yes, but he was completely drunk. Plus when you mess with someone who has some anger issues they will snap easier. I'm just glad that Hollywood is slowly starting to forgive him. Hopefully others will do the same.

I think Mel is an outstanding filmmaker who has made some questionable personal decisions, but who hasn't? His are just more public than others. Did he say stuff he shouldn't have? Absolutely, and he should be held accountable for that. But he should be held accountable by the people in his life, not by the entirety of the world. I was really glad to see his reception during awards season for Hacksaw Ridge. Seems like Hollywood is starting to slowly forgive him.

It makes me happy whenever I see other people, such as yourself, are understanding that the actions weren't right of what he did a decade ago, but that it's not our place to hold him accountable. Especially after he's made a strong effort to shape up
