If the themes of the more serious B99 episodes really fascinate you, I think you’d really like The Wire. It’s a very nuanced critique on not just the Police, but the system as a whole. On the topic of HBO, does anyone know if Greg has seen Six Feet Under? Because I remember him saying he’s seen Sopranos, but not The Wire. And SFU was another acclaimed HBO drama from that time period.

I love the way they approached the topic of this one. More so, I appreciate when they address the harder things (especially around then) bc it feels to me like they wanted to let their fans know they were aware of the climate and needed to be more than just funny during this time. They handled the changes needed with grace, and in a way that feels still very B99.
