it is most likely there wont be a new ice age movie. Disney shut blue sky down, unfortunately. also, in a legal dispute, blue sky lost the rights to the character scrat. As a farewell to his character, blue sky created a 30 sec animation, in which scrat finally gets to eat his acorn.so if there ever should be another ice age movie, it sadly would be without scrat
