Bwahahahaha!!! Tara during the kiss was everything! ROFL. Sorry you guys had to get through the second half of this movie to get to the next one. The next 2 are good. Dream Master (the 4th one) is my favorite... also Robert Englund's favorite. 3, Dream Warriors is also really fun. Dream Child is interesting... I do love the continuity of the next 3. The rest are just okay, except for the last one "Wes Craven's New Nightmare" is really neat... like super Meta. Oh, and Roxy, Englund is pronounces EN (like in the word ENTER), glund (like glund, lol).

OMG just finished watching your reaction commentary. Yes, Lisa was amazing, but NO, no way 2 is a favorite, that's CRAZY... most true fans of the series watch in this order. 1, 3, 4, 5, then Wes Craven's New Nightmare. (the 6th one, Freddy's Dead, is not necessarily terrible, but not necessary). The 2nd movie had so much potential, but the writing in the nonsensical second half, was just too ridiculous to enjoy... and the ending... insert Mugatu "I feel like I'm taking crazy pills" meme! PS. And yes, the mean teacher was in the 2nd Chucky movie. For a second I was like... wait what? I was replaying the first movie in my head and was like... how am I not remembering the dead teacher? Lol... The teacher in the first one, btw, is the actress that plays Elise in the Insidious movies. And 100% yes, #JusticeForLisa!

I will say 2 has a VERY big cult following especially among the queer community. I think if you separate it from being a Nightmare film in the franchise, some people have a lot of strong feelings for it! - PLD

4 being a favorite over 3 is not a take I hear often! But I'm here for it! I do think 3-5 have a little bit of mythology continuity that help them work together...5 though is definitely a bit...been there done that at some point. Wes Craven's New Nightmare is a great precursor to Scream! - PLD
