Here we publish this second version of the new Matee Jedeepitak session without commentary, only with natural audio just to make sure everything said can be heard clearly. This could be helpful on rewatch. As Matee speaks English in the session it was best to have two different versions, one with commentary, one just natural audio, so we could raise the sound of the natural track.

Watch and read the full Muay Thai Library commentary session here: #132 Matee Jedeepitak - The Keys To Femeu Timing & Distance (1 hr, 6 min)

The full Library entry not only has my in-video commentary, it also has training notes, photos from Matee's career and from the session, and recommendations for further study in the Library.

One of the most essential sessions to watch. Great emphasis on no wrong techniques if you know why you did it that way to flow into what's next. Great input from you Sylvie on how people see Dieselnoi kneeing one way and Karuhat kneeing another etc., and explaining that in Matee's context, they each did it their way to flow into their next technique [to fit their style]. Thank you. Also you speaking in Thai while he speaks English sounds like my conversation with my relatives in Thailand... haha

This is gold! Thank you so much for doing this, Sylvie! I had a chance to learn from Matee years ago in Michigan, but for some reasons I couldn't learn as much from him then as I watch your videos now.

I occupy a unique position in that I'm a fighter, a student, a westerner and have immersed myself in Thai pedagogy. So I learn and explain across the cultural medians. I'm so happy to hear you get a lot out of it, and even better that you've studied directly with him before, so you know what these particular elements feel like in person. He's really a wonderful teacher; I'm a keen assistant, haha.
