Interview With Khunpinit On Fighting Saenchai and Attachai in the 2000s (English Subs) (Patreon)
Content
Above is my 10 minute interview with Khunpinit, with English translation. (Turn on English Subs by clicking the CC at the bottom right of the video frame.) With the help of patrons we're able to pay for translation of these Thai language interviews, and my Thai has finally gotten strong enough that I feel comfortable in conversation with them. I hope to be doing many more of these. These interviews are free to the public, though supported by patrons.
This is a great spontaneous interview with Khunpinit touching on several interesting topics, not only only his fights with Attachai and Saenchai, but also about his career as a fighter, and the changes he sees in Muay Thai from his days in the 2000s. He's not a fighter I knew about, but he has a beautiful, Southern style power femeu that reminds me of Namsaknoi, also from the South. He talks pretty fast so you might have to watch it more than once!
Sessions in the Library
I hope you enjoy this little insight into this accomplished fighter from the days of Attachai and Saenchai. You can find his session below in the Muay Thai Library below, if you are interested. I'll also put links to Attachai's and Namsaknoi's sessions as well. I think this trinity of fighters show a beautiful combination of powerful, strong bodied, but still quite femeu styles of fighting:
