We're trying something a bit new with this episode, a shorter version, more frequent shot on the couch rather than driving across Thailand on the way home from a fight.  We still speak in depth, covering all kinds of topics as they connect to Muay Thai; but we're looking to making the Muay Thai Bones Podcast more frequent and, perhaps in the shorter versions, more accessible. We'll still have our epic, long, car-ride version when we drive to fights; we just have this in-between as well. If you have suggestions for topics you'd like us to talk about leave them in comments please!

In this episode we cover only a few subjects in our 90 minutes, but with great expansion and depth. We start out with a post of "My 15 Rules for Muay Thai" that was posted to my Instagram a while back and got quite a few responses from readers, including some requests for clarification on a couple of the items on the list. So, here, we go into explanation on just a couple points but really focus in and elaborate on the "steer clear of the politics and the powerful," what that means and why that is.

In our last Muay Thai Bones Episode we talked a bit about the change to my training but talked so much about some elements of those changes that we never got around to what my training actually looks like. So, we cover that here.

We also finish up with a conversation about how emotional investments are not separate or separable from this kind of process that I'm working through in my path as a fighter. Lots and lots of elements and factors go into what those emotional landscapes look like, and they change over time, go sideways and back down and up again, which is to be expected.

So, welcome to the 90 Minute Muay Thai Bones!
