MATCH.COM REVIEW

I've been thinking about talking about my experience with Match.com. It's good to talk about different apps, but I tried Match.com out of curiosity. Some people I know had success, but I didn't find many great stories.

For my evaluation, I've established a three-factor rating scale:

1. **User-Friendliness: 8/10**

The app earns an 8 for user-friendliness, boasting an easy-to-navigate and up-to-date design, reminiscent of Facebook. However, its simplicity might attract an older audience, considering the challenges some older individuals face with technology, especially on iPhones. The app's accessibility plays a crucial role, aligning with recommendations and cost considerations.

2. **Quality of Men on the App: 4/10**

After three months on Match.com—sorting through messages, engaging with profiles—the quality of men stands out as one of the worst. This low rating stems from the app's apparent catering towards men, making it challenging for women to truly enjoy the experience. Blocking or reporting someone isn't straightforward, contributing to an environment where individuals invest minimal time and effort into their profiles. Hence, the overall quality of men on this app falls below expectations. It’s just does not have quality men , I think they’re just using other apps.

3. **VALUE FOR MONEY 3/10**

So this is the good thing about Match.com it seems to be geared towards an older audience, but the subscription prices for both Match.com and eHarmony feel unjustifiable. Many men on different dating sites, such as OkCupid, avoid paying for subscriptions, raising doubts about the value of premium features. Considering the low one-star Better Business Bureau rating, there are potential concerns about Match.com's services. This evaluation underscores the need for platforms to deliver substantial value to justify their costs and suggests that a shift toward a free model, like Hinge, might better align with user behavior.
