Something I had always wanted as a little was something that could hold more than 4-8oz and actually quench my thirst. I can’t take full credit for the mason jar sippy cups and bottles but I sold my first adult sized one in July of 2017. I saw a Pinterest post which showed a bottle made from a 4oz jar and a company that made bottle attachments but it was an expensive kit with a small teat. But I didn’t want a small teat and I wanted to be able to drink from something large. This started the quest for something bigger and better with an initial idea and concept that sparked it. Me and my best friend went to so many different stores with a mason lid in hand. Ready to make something bigger and better. It was actually Blake who found the first sippy cup top to fit the jars… but the waste created from just taking the top from a sippy cup wasn't really a sustainable idea after a short amount of time. Buuut I'll spare you the details and get to the point. This is a cheaper way to make your own mason jar bottles and sippy cups for $5 if you already have some jars on hand. You could even split the costs with a friend and save more instead of paying high shop prices for an idea thats... borrowed and been up-charged over time at prices that aren't even near fair.

This is one of my favorite types of mason jars for them they have more of that bottle shape and fits in adult hands a lot better than some other jars and holds 16oz. They also sell them in target and walmart.

Now the real magic is in the tops! My personal favorite is the sippy cup top because of how quick of a stream it gets. Especially with a bit of time the flow gets faster. This top will work for any regular mouth jar! (buying the tops from this seller also include some instructions on how to trim the edges for a better seal)

There's also a bottle top! Its not as wide and adult fitting but the faster flows also get better with use and time to be pretty comfortable compared to any other bottle teat I've tried.

(I know some of these pics might be familiar haha)

One problem is that lids can become rusty over time but there are these rings that will last longer and add a cuter less rustic touch if thats what you're into! And some brands sell anti rust rings, or even different colored rings.

I also love to check etsy for any vinyl stickers that you might want to stick on them too! A lot of craft stores also carry different kinds of stickers to customize them. Sometimes I would keep an eye out for different jars as different holidays come up! Like this skull jar I was able to find around fall!

I hope this post wasn't too long! And if theres anything you're curious about or that I left out please let me know, I'm more than happy to help! I hope you liked this and I'd love to know what you think, should I write more things out like this? Please, please, please use this guide for personal use only
