Content

Hey everyone,

Figured best to get this out of the way after debating internally what the plan was going forward. So after finding a large chunk of my patreon content was leaked and realizing a flaw in for the content itself is stored I'd been trying to decide how to impliment a defensive measure that wouldn't also come at the cost of being a pain to you guys.

Some content creators only provide links to each individual piece of content via Patreon messages but given how Patreon's message system works I wasn't too keen on that one, and some creators fully utilize off-site methods like Discord which I was more comfortable with but I didn't like the idea of forcing those of you that don't use the platform down this route.

Which leaves us with my third (and will probably turn out to be the worst) option, I'll shortly be implimenting password protection on all files+folders outside of the ones specifically for public viewings. If it turns out to be a dud or there's strong friction against the idea maybe I'll try one of the other methods. Once set I'll be messaging all patrons who's payments have been processed for this month via Patreon's messages.

As much as I hate to add this on at the end also, but seems starting this month the patron numbers took a fairly sizable dive again (and even moreso than last) with people cancelling their pledges and a fair few payments turning up declined. Now of course if people choose to halt their patronage that's perfectly fine as we all have our own responsibilties etc, but declined payments at the start of the month really effect my finances for the month.
It's my understanding that Patreon notifies those who's payments don't successfully process so I don't want to be chasing people up so I'd just like to ask that could people please make sure their card details are uptodate and such.
