Elf is an outlander to Sandsworth. She comes from far away lands to negotiate trade offers and diplomacy. Sandsworth is a very different place for an elf, especially being very hot city makes them really uncomfortable. Elves are rarely seen in Sandsworth and how lucky we are that she is in the same tavern with us!

They are perfect at diplomacy and mostly neutral aligned in terms of politics where humans live. But, probably they are much more capable at some other things as well. Destor will find out soon.
