With the recent passing of Richard Roundtree (RIP),the iconic actor who originated the character, Shaft, I was inspired to do a new pin- up of a new character, Detective Grizz. I actually have earlier drawings of him that will be posted in the next few weeks, but with Roundtree’s death, I decided to post this one ahead of those! So let’s raise a glass to the actor who helped change Hollywood with the first black male action hero!
