Renaissance Pleasure Faire (Patreon)

It’s been two years since that last Ren Faire and I’m so excited to be back!!

This time around I went as a Sun Priestess wearing my old Alia get up from Children of Dune Club, the head band I made for the Sun Tarot Card shoot in the 2015 Calendar, and the blue silk scarf utilized in the 2020 Calendar. I ate up all the MAD COMPLIMENTS I received ALL DAY 🤤.

One of my favorite activities is getting out of the Sun and going into the hookah tent during the midafternoon heat. Honestly, I hate nicotine but I do like getting to sit there for an hour puffing on it. My main objective is to talk to strangers and give them free tarot readings. I made the acquaintance of a cute couple of friends and read their cards and swapped info. Success!

My favorite costume of the day by far was the slutty Gandalf! I spotted her across the way while watching the Joust and caught her on the way out after the show (which was lit btw).

Also, I HAD to get ye olde TURKEY LEG and some corn because…ya know. Honestly, turkey legs are super unwieldy but it was fun none the less.

This was O’s first time dressing up for a Faire. That morning before we went he was under the impression he would be wearing his Levi’s LOL. He contributed the vest, boots, and a couple concho belts to his rouge/pirate fit and I supplied the rest. He even allowed me to put some guyliner on him and was a great sport about the whole thing. I forgot to give him some necklaces and shit but overall I’m very pleased with how his costume came together.

We watched belly dancers, a sword swallower, a jester man, knights on horses, and hot girls. It was a great time.

If any of you are in the LA area, I highly recommend hitting up the Renaissance Pleasure Faire in Irwindale. It’s every weekend through the 22nd of May :)
