The biggest question I have about Chilren of Dune is do they ever explain how female kwisatz haderach (which seems like an oxymoron because the kwisatz haderach is the male bene geserit) and preborn have access to male memories - Its been decades since I read the serries but I'm pretty sure in the first Dune its explained that the memories are genetic - thats why the all female bene geserit only have memories down the female line transmitted though the x chromosome. Male bene geserit having both an X and Y chrosome have acces to both male and female lines. Should we assume then that Allia perhaps is not female at all but suffers from something like androgen insinsitivity syndrome ? But that wouldn't explain Ghanima because she has children.... Just thinking out loud this is the one issue about Dune that always bugged me..
