I started watching it just hear Nine Inch Nails in the background. Pretty cool!

My comment from the video: I concur with a lot of this. I liked it in general but there were a few issues with the way it all came together and I wasn't fussed on the ending. The best part was the soundtrack, as a life long fan of Alan Moore and NIN I was in fanboy heaven listening to it. I liked that it did the whole every-episode-has-a-visual-motif thing like the comic. The main problem was that Watchmen was "About Stuff". It was an aesthetic exercise in pushing the medium on a technical level but it was also "About Stuff". Alan Moore is a skilled artist and storyteller but he also has an ideology (humanist Anarchism), his work has "Themes" which are not just for 8th Grade book reports, thankyou very much Mr Benioff. The Watchmen comic was so powerful because it was the perfect balance of function and form wherein each element of the whole compliments the other. This wasn't that. I don't think Lindleof has a ideology or really believes in anything, beyond the art. He's a talented story teller but all he knows is stories and he doesn't have anything to ground it in, unlike Alan Moore who is a true working class hero / auto-diktat.

I loved watchmen. Seemed like his purpose was to not be alone when he died and he brought her family, her Gpa and kids, which she blamed him for taking originally. Was a dope show. Great journey. Agree that actor is just blessed with a huge dick.

BTW, this is good, and chimes with my feelings on the whole thing: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B496r3bPwQ8
