October Roundup #1 (Patreon)

Welcome to Pumpkin Month! I don't have anything special planned for a Halloween costume, but for the past month we've been working on a cool drag monster getup for my partner Gannon! Otherwise, things have been pretty quiet around here lately! 

CONVENTIONS

ECCC is in early December! Getting ready to make some new stuff and send it off to get printed in time for the con! I hear every global supply chain is totally out of whack, so I'm a little worried about what that means for merchandise and all my other projects going forward! :U

KEYCHAINS ARE HERE! You probably already saw them on Twitter, but here they are again:

They are SO SMALL, but I had to get Gannon to model the Rob specifically because I have very small hands, and they look like normal keychains when I hold them. Example: 

Again, global supply chain? International shipping? It's totally FUBAR right now. I want to get these into my store ASAP but lately I've had such bum luck shipping things internationally (either the package gets lost or it takes 3 months to get there), and I only printed 50 of each of these as a test run. AS MUCH AS IT PAINS ME, I was considering limiting shipping to domestic USA orders and in-person con sales only for the time being. I'm very sorry to my international readers!! I've been selling my stuff online for like 10 years and this is the very first time I've ever had to do this and it sucks!! I'm really hoping the situation improves after the holiday season (because I can only imagine it will get WORSE during the holidays.) I'm a little worried about how next year's RR Chapter 1 Kickstarter might be affected?? But we'll figure that out when we get there, and I'll have Slipshine's help in that case. 

I'll be announcing when they're in the store here on my Patreon before the general public, in case any of you live in the US and want to snag a few tiny babies. I'll keep you all posted! 

I'm stalled on the latest RR illustration because, even though I color a lot of things these days, I'm still not very confident about it! Here's the color comp I'm working with, which I'm happy with. But making good on these WIP colors has been a Trial.

OTHER STUFF

GANNON'S HALLOWEEN COSTUME! It's consumed our weekends and weeknights, and we're almost finished! Here are some in-progress shots: 

He's gonna be, like, a big sexy drag demon with giant fuzzy arms and horns. IT'S GONNA BE REALLY COOL. Normally my down-time is filled with MORE comics or Minecraft, so it's felt really nice to work on something different and get a little crafty! 

The pumpkin in my yard looks about the same as last update, but it's starting to yellow up! Just in time too, we've had a pretty warm October but now I think we're headed into the Cold Zone here in New England. The forecast says we're supposed to get more snow than normal this year! :U
