So, last week I had to take a moment and think. It was maybe Tuesday or Wednesday, and I was exhausted. I was on my lunch break from my full time job, and instead of having lunch, I was fixing renders and settings up scenes for Streamer Food, as I had done every day almost for the last several weeks. I was sweating because my AC is currently broken and two computers are rendering, pumping out a ton of heat. I opened a window because it's cool outside now, but I realized something.

This project is taking like, literally all of my free time, and I keep making it BIGGER. I'm not really organized enough yet to have a story outline, so if I'm working on something and get a cool perspective shot, I save a new scene and spend the next few hours setting it up. For instance, I thought of a scene with a really cool POV shot of Katie's eyes from the spoon... but it served no narrative purpose, and would have taken another two days to render. I would also have to explain why Katie is staring at her spoon if she doesn't know there's tiny people trapped, trying not to get eaten by her, but that would have meant MORE scenes to render. Probably another week of work...so I put it on hold.

I've been approaching this like it's supposed to be perfect, my Magnum Opus. the perfect cereal vore story. The truth is that this is definitely some of the best work I've done, it's not perfect, it was never going to be, and inflating the scope is just going to push the project out again and again and again. I was *really* tired of spending every afternoon staring into a 3D viewport (even if it's of a really cute girl). I wanna play video games and watch movies again!

So...I decided to finish it. No more new content or new scenes, no more dedicated entire days (or weekends) to learning fluid simulations, tutorials on retopology in Blender so I can make a piece of cereal look more chewed up or digested...no, you've been waiting long enough. Let me be clear, I don't regret any of this, but I'm definitely feeling burnt out and would like some more me time.

So that's where we are! There are a few things that needed some changing, and after I started the final editing process, I decided to rework a couple scenes near the beginning to fit better, but I'm proud to say that I'm rendering the last couple of scenes, and all that is left is audio/sound editing. I had to de-emphasize some of the lip-syncing for voice lines unfortunately, but we'll see how I feel after a break. Maybe I'll do more with it! I'd certainly like to.

Thank you SO SO much for your patience the last few months, I've learned a hard lesson about priorities and planning and how to do this animation (or just content creation) thing while still working full time. I really hope you enjoy Streamer Food, it's been a really incredible learning experience.
Streamer Food will contain the following themes:

  • Entirely Unaware - Heavy Emphasis on Mouth/Lips/Nearly Being Eaten/On Spoon, In Cereal
  • Vore - In Mouth/Chewing/Swallowed Alive, a few brief internal/stomach scenes
  • A chunk of barefoot, in-shoe (bedrooms slippers) and sandals, near crush
  • One scene each of the following: Body Exploration, Butt Crush

Couple more days, y'all! Talk soon <3

Is the animation going to open up for tier four patrons?
