Clockblocker stared at where John was sitting on the couch between a jealous Missy and a… less bitchy Sophia. “Are we sure we don’t need to call Master-Stranger Containment on you?” he asked the dark skinned teen.

“Do you know what kinda power Missy has picked up from him?” Sophia said with a smirk. “I’d be a fool not to try my hand at getting them, and my mom didn’t raise no fools.”

“Just a sociopath,” Missy said, mock sweetly.

“That’s just another word for survivor,” Sophia replied with a smirk.

John shook his head and patted Sophia on the arm, telepathically giving her, her orders to track down his other self. “How about we bond some other time? I’m still adjusting at the moment.”

Sophia frowned and rolled her eyes. “Whatever, I’ll just have to catch you when she isn’t around,” she said before getting up and walking off.

“I don’t like her and you shouldn’t either,” Missy ordered John. “She’s a bitch and only wants to use you.”

“I know,” John agreed, “I figure she’ll eventually either become a better person or get frustrated and quit trying, either way I’ll be entertained.”

“And…” Missy winced a little, “I think your current girlfriend might be a bit upset if you started dating her.”

“You’re already seeing someone?” Clockblocker asked.

“Glory Girl,” Missy replied, still feeling a bit conflicted about that since she was finding her a bit more tolerable but still…

“I thought she was dating De.. Gallant,” Clockblocker said, getting things mixed up as he was used to hiding the fact that Dean was Gallant..

“You got that completely backwards,” Missy noted. “Everyone knows ‘Dean’ is dating Glory Girl and John already knows his secret identity anyway.”

“Your jealous rants gave that away months ago,” John agreed, “not that it was hard to tell, since Glory Girl doesn’t really do the whole secret ID thing all that well.”

“At least there’s something she doesn’t do well,” Missy grumbled.

John wrapped a wing around her. “You’re still my second favorite twin.”

“Second?” she asked in disbelief.

“Well, to be fair, I am pretty awesome,” John said before he started dodging as she snatched up a pillow and started swinging at him.

Clockblocker stared as the two got into a pillow fight demonstrating speed and agility that was insane, not to mention spending a good portion of the ‘battle’ either on the walls or ceiling.

Kid Win came in mid battle and was similarly struck dumb.

Missy eventually maneuvered John into a corner, by twisting the space around him and webbed his wings in place before smacking him with a pillow. “Hah, I win again!”

John laughed, hanging half off the ceiling. “I still say using powers is cheating.”

“That’s loser talk,” Missy argued. “You use what ya got or you are both handicapping yourself and an idiot, and if you are an idiot you need every advantage you can get anyway.”

“I’d argue the logic, but you have a point,” he agreed.

“I always do,” Missy agreed cheerfully.

“How did you do all that?” Kid Win asked in disbelief.

“If I sleep with him can I do that?” Clockblocker asked. Everyone turned to stare at him. “Asking for a friend,” he assured them.

John snickered. “Sorry, you have to be that cute to ride this ride,” he said, gesturing towards Missy with his chin.

“Okay, seriously,” Kid Win said, “what was that?”

“I’m a Trump,” John offered cheerfully.

“And you slept with Missy?” Kid Win asked.

“Been sleeping with her for years,” John said.

Missy face palmed. “Let me explain things,” she said.

“But then he’d understand what was going on,” John complained, “and where’s the fun in that?”

“Shut it before I web your mouth shut,” she ordered.

“Yes dear,” John replied with a grin.

“My twin brother, who you have probably met at least once, was kidnapped and tortured by The Merchants for several days before triggering,” she explained. “He’s a Mover, Brute, Thinker and Blaster as well as a Stranger. Well, I comforted him last night when we recovered him and somehow he gave me some of his powers, which makes him a Trump as well.”

“I have to actually love the person, so no, sleeping with me will get you nothing except an angry couple of girls,” John added.

“He’s dating Glory Girl and Missy is the jealous type apparently,” Clockblocker offered.

“It’s not like that,” Missy said rolling her eyes, “I just think he can do better.”

“Better than Victoria Dallon?” Clockblocker asked in disbelief and was ignored.

“Wait… I thought Dean was dating Glory Girl,” Kid Win said.

“I’m who she regularly breaks up with him to date,” John offered cheerfully.

“And now I can see why Missy dislikes her so much,” Kid Win said.

“So… what’s Glory Girl like in the sack?” Clockblocker asked. “Dean is too much of a ‘gentleman’ to share.”

“Ask Missy,” John said.

The two turned to look at the short blonde girl who was turning red. “I swear to god,” she grumbled. “Wait, I can just go get lunch and not listen to this,” Missy realized, “while you… hang around.” She smirked.

“Fine, bring me back some pizza, please,” John asked.

“I’ll bring you back whatever I’m having,” she promised as she left.

“Okay, she’s gone now,” Clockblocker said, “what’s the what?”

“Pretty much what I’ve already said,” John said, “I am dating Vicky until she inevitably breaks up with me again, for whatever reason she comes up with, and I spend most my time hanging out with Amy or Missy.”

“And you’re joining the Wards?” Kid Win asked with a smile, looking forward to having a heavy hitter on their team.

“Nope, but they are trying to convince me,” John said, knowing someone would be monitoring them and would report whatever he said to the higher ups, “and if they come up with a good enough contract… I can be persuaded. They’ve got an in with Missy so if they play ball I will join, even though I would rather be independent.”

“Why would you want to be independent?” Kid Win asked.

“I’m an emancipated minor,” John replied, “so joining the Wards is actually a step back for me, as I’d be under another’s authority once more even if only while on duty.”

“They’re generally pretty reasonable,” Clockblocker said, “and this is me saying that.”

“We’ll see,” John said, trying to sound noncommittal, “depending on contract of course.”

“How long are you going to be stuck up there?” he asked.

“Hmmm… another twenty minutes?” John guessed. “This stuff dissolves, but the time depends on our mood when we make it.”

"Done," Leet muttered as he carefully closed the case on the transmutation bomb he'd just finished assembling. "Just make sure you're out of range when it goes off."

Myst pulled his attention off the walls of fog that surrounded the small testing area he'd set up for Leet. "Do you have any hard numbers on the actual range?" he asked as he reached over and touched the toaster sized bomb and transferred it to his clone that was currently flying towards Ellisburg.

"Hell if I know," Leet admitted as he eyed the empty space on the workbench. "If the math is right, maybe a thousand feet radius. If the math isn't… I hear Earth Aleph is a nice place to live."

"You're saying it could destroy the world?" Myst asked skeptically.

"It shouldn't, but I barely understand how it works or where it gets the energy to convert everything to a glass like substance," Leet admitted. "For all I know, the reaction could cascade and change the entire world into glass. Leet doesn't exactly have the best track record even if the Leet collective hasn't had any problems."

"Great," Myst muttered, wishing he had a precog power to make sure a runaway reaction wasn't a realistic possibility. "In other words, I should probably make a testing area."

Leet winced as he realized he'd need to make another bomb and he had other projects he wanted to mess with. "Then again, the chances of that happening are nearly nonexistent and the bomb was a pain in the ass to make. Not to mention temperamental enough that testing one wouldn't prove the other was safe."

Myst shook his head. "Yeah, I was just planning on using the replicator to copy it."

"In that case test away," Leet replied with a grin. "Just make sure you set the timer for long enough that you can leave or better yet, grab a disposable minion."

"This is why you can't have nice things," Myst replied, only half joking.

Leet stared at Myst for a couple of seconds in disbelief. "I meant a robot or drone or something!"

"Oh," Myst muttered as he worked on creating a large isolated testing zone in his pocket dimension to test the explosives. "Sorry."

"What type of monster do you take me for?" Leet asked dryly.

"A Tinker, a Spark, or a mad scientist?" Myst asked with amusement.

"Fair enough," Leet admitted after a couple of seconds. "Just make sure you have one of the camera drones recording things. The effect should be spectacular."

Myst nodded. "Speaking of bombs, were you able to make the pulse wave generator you were talking about?"

"No idea, wrong Leet," Leet replied with a grin. "We split the projects up so that we could finish everything without rushing."

"Probably for the best," Myst replied as he transferred the explosive device to the clone near the replicator so that he could create a copy to test. "In that case, I'll check with the other Leet."

"Sounds good," Leet agreed. "I need to get started on a communication system so we can monitor other sections of the pocket dimension and get cable and net."

Myst laughed as he headed off to find the other Leet while his clone scanned the matter transmutation bomb so that he could replicate it. 'I'm looking forward to putting up my feet and doing some writing or maybe playing some video games, then again I have enough clones to do both and goof off.'

Kayden opened the door and looked at the red haired girl in her late teens wearing a UPS outfit that was holding a package wrapped in brown paper and a clipboard. "Can I help you?"

"Please sign for the package," Myst said as 'she' held out the clipboard.

"I didn't order anything," Kayden complained.

Myst sighed. "I'm just the delivery girl."

"What is it?" Kayden asked as she accepted the clipboard.

"A package," Myst replied dryly as he used his Fantasy Fulliment power to check to see what it would take to get her into bed so that he could finish his stupid screw ten villains mission and blinked when he realized that all it would take was shape changing to resemble a certain actor, pretending to be one of her online contacts, some wine and thirty seven words. 'Huh, either she's starved for attention or this world is more screwed up than I thought.'

"Fine," Kayden complained as she signed for the package and handed the clipboard back.

Myst smiled as he 'innocently' touched Kayden's hand when she handed him the package and created four cheerful bisexual nudist copies of the Blaster that didn't have any real issues with anyone based on race, dropping them in his pocket dimension. "Thanks, enjoy your package."

Kayden frowned slightly as she looked at the label on the package as the delivery girl walked off with a bounce in her step. 'Black Magic Industries?'

Myst walked around the corner and changed to resemble the image he'd seen with his power, complete with black slacks, dress shoes and an open silk shirt that showed off his muscles. He conjured a bouquet of flowers and a bottle of her favorite wine in his pocket dimension then transferred them to his hands. Sure, they wouldn't last more than a couple of hours but that would be long enough to have a good time and leave.

"What's going on?" Kayden asked as she looked around and saw a dozen naked or mostly naked teens lounging around by the pool. 'Damn, it's like something out of show. Is that Glory Girl?'

Myst smiled at the new clones. "You're copies of Purity and I need your help to destroy Ellisburg."

The group of Kaydens turned to look at Myst. "What do you need?"

"I'm going to drop a bomb that should turn Nilbog and a decent percentage of Ellisburg into glass then I'm going to toss a bunch of bombs at the rest of the monsters. I doubt I'll be able to kill everything because I can't drop the bombs close to the walls which means I'll need help killing all of the monsters."

One of the Kaydens shook her head. "Some of the monsters can shoot birds out of the air with spines, I'm not sure we'd do much better."

"Don't worry, Panacea is working on making a symbiote that comes with a force field and physical enhancements that should keep you safe," Myst assured her.

"In that case, we'd love to help," three of the Kaydens said at the same time then grinned at each other.

"What happened to Kayden?" the other Kayden asked.

"She's currently letting a guy into her apartment for a bit of fun," Myst replied as he changed to look like the unfamiliar actor that she wanted to bang.

The group of Kaydens licked their lips as they eyed Myst. "How much time do we have before we need to help you deal with Nilbog?"

"Not enough for anything fun but we'll certainly party afterwards," Myst assured them as one of his clones worked on setting up the replicated bomb in the testing zone.'

"We're going to need costumes," two of the Kaydens said at the same time.

"Not a problem, the symbiote can shapechange," Myst assured them as he changed back and gestured towards where Amy was working on turning bags of potatoes into symbiote ‘eggs’.

"Even with different costumes our power is a bit distinctive," one of the Kaydens pointed out.

Myst shrugged. "Worst case, they add it to Purity's list of crimes. Best case, we can use it and the fact that you left the Empire months ago to leverage some type of pardon for her. Either way, we're in a pocket dimension, so we don't really need to worry about it. Besides, Kayden should have a number of neighbors that will testify that she was shaking the walls and screaming during the attack so she couldn't possibly be Purity."

"What about Aster?" a different Kayden asked, thinking of her daughter.

"Don't worry, I'll make copies," Myst assured the group, knowing they loved their daughter.

"Good," Kayden said as she looked around at the naked and half naked people with a grin. "I think I'm going to like it here."

Myst cautiously peeked out of the wall of fog and stared down at the almost half a mile across circle of earth and jungle plants that had been turned into glass, turning what had been a vibrant, if bug and animal free, jungle into a disturbing work of art. He flew over for a closer view at the line separating the jungle from the glass, noting the glass leaves on perfectly normal looking trees that had gotten caught in the edge of the effect.

He watched the line for a minute to make sure it wasn't moving then flew down and picked up a rock. "Okay, let's make sure the effect isn't continuous," he muttered as he tossed the rock over the line, watching it hit the ground and bounce a couple of times before coming to a rest, completely unchanged. He conjured a geiger counter and slowly walked towards the line, wanting to make sure Leet's bomb hadn't turned the area into a radioactive wasteland or anything.

He was moderately surprised and a touch suspicious when his geiger counter didn't show any sign of radiation, of course, he'd conjured the jungle and area and he certainly hadn't included any radioactive material so it wasn't outside of the realm of possibility but it was a bit disconcerting. "Fucking Tinkers," he muttered as he touched the edge of the glass with the machine. "Nothing."

He picked a flower and tossed it over the line and sighed in relief when it fell to the ground completely unchanged, a single purple flower in a sea of clear glass. "Yeah, I don't care if I'm being paranoid," he grumbled as he waved a hand over the line, figuring Amy could fix anything short of death. He wiggled his fingers and flew up into the air and headed for the middle of the effect so he could take measurements.

"I wish Teacher's power wasn't screwed up," Myst mused as he stopped a thousand feet above the ground and looked down the circle of glass. "I'll have to take some pictures later." He conjured a laser distance finder and lined everything up so that he could measure the diameter of the circle.

"2675 feet across…" Myst trailed off as he realized there was something deeply suspicious about the number the measuring device was showing him. "If you take away a foot and change for the toaster sized bomb then cut it in half, 1337."

The version of Myst by the pool looked away from where Riley and Aisha were kissing and looked at Leet. "I just ran the rest, I know the radius, I'm going to beat you with a dead fish."

Colin glanced between Myst and Leet. "What did you do?"

"1337 feet?" Leet asked excitedly.

"Yeah, which is 337 feet more than a thousand," Myst complained.

"I said about a thousand, that's close enough, did it work?" Leet asked, fairly sure Myst would have complained if it hadn't.

"Yeah, I even checked with a geiger counter to make sure it wasn't radioactive, it's not," he assured everyone.

"Probably for the best considering some of Nilbog's creations use radiation to reproduce," Colin said as he pulled up the map of Ellisburg on his laptop and started marking places to drop the bombs that would give the best coverage without overlapping the fiends. "We're going to need a clean up force or his remaining minions will escape and go on a killing spree."

"I have a couple of ideas," Myst assured everyone. "Nilbog likes to hide underground where he's safe from snipers. Once I've dropped the first bomb, my clone will drop down and transfer in a copy of Oni-Lee, four Kaydens and five Mantons and Othalas. Oni-Lee can run around droping copies of my pulse wave bomb while the Kaydens can ride Siberians. That leaves one Siberian to cover the Othalas that are giving the group of Mantons invulnerability."

"That would cover everyone other than Lee," Colin mused as he looked at the map, fairly sure they needed more firepower. "You should probably bring every Manton, you can use the rest of them to cover your robots, we could use the firepower."

Rune raised her hand. "If you loan me a Siberian for a platform, I could take a bunch of droids."

"Three extra Siberians, three platforms, that's at least six extra robots, each with grav guns. This could work."

"Do you know the meaning of overkill?" Amy asked.

"Blowing up a town when you need to smash a bug?" Myst asked 'innocently'.

"We should have the symbiotes done in five," one of the other Amys suggested, not looking up from the symbiote she was working on.

"How are you going to disguise the Siberian?" Manton asked.

Lisa smirked. "Oliver found a spell to disguise people which should confuse the issue."

"In that case, we should work out where everyone needs to go," Colin suggested. "Do you have extra gav-guns?" he asked as he looked at Myst, unwilling to stay behind.

"I have a replicator," Myst replied smugly.

Amy sighed. "I'm going to need more potatoes."

Myst gestured and created several more bags of potatoes next to the horde of Amys.

"I need to make an Alternator cannon," Chris said with a frown. “I have a really cool idea for one and I’ll probably need some help.”

Colin shook his head. "We're going to have enough people looking at the aftermath, we don't need them focused on the Wards because of a similar Tinker profile in some of the weapons we used."

"Point," Chris admitted.

"I love it when a plan comes together," Myst said cheerfully, happy to have people willing to help.
