Mist blinked as he stepped/fell out of the portal and into a disturbingly familiar room that he’d seen far too many times while playing the World of Warcraft game. He tried to contain his excitement as he glanced around the room at the inside of the wizard’s tower as the rest of the group came through the portal behind him. He scanned the bookcase and frowned as he got a blueprint for a bookcase prop rather than an actual bookcase. “Prop… right.” He blinked in surprise as he realized what that meant. “Shit, we’re in a videogame.”

Willow looked over at the various people standing around in robes that weren’t paying attention to the rather large group that had come through the portal. “This could be interesting.”

Noelle grinned. “We should check out the Stockades to see if you can get a proper dungeon scan.”

Leet said, “Don’t forget the auction house.”

Fred grinned. “I want to scan a class trainer. Actually, do you think we can pick up any classes?”

“Probably not but it’s worth checking,” Abby pointed out as she worked on scanning everything in the room.

Hermione frowned as a short pink haired girl jumped out of the portal wearing shoulder pads with spikes and skulls on them along with strange rune covered robes and a wizard hat. “Hello?”

“Huh, sweet, where did you get the new outfits? I didn’t see any new patch notes when I logged in.” The gnome looked at Arya. “How the hell did you alter your character to look like Arya Stark, and your blade, Valyrian steel? Are you hacking?”

Arya blinked. “Huh?”

Mist shook his head. “We’re play testers.”

The gnome said, “Oh, sweet, please tell me they’re going to actually upgrade the graphics at some point?”

“Hopefully,” Mist replied hesitantly.

“What raid are you testing?” The gnome asked.

“We’re not supposed to talk about it but rest assured it will be fantastic.”

“Holy shit, they got the rights to Game of Thrones!” the gnome screamed with glee.

Xander pointed at the portal. “Don’t tell anyone but the portal leads to an untested area of the North…” he trailed off as the gnome screamed. “Going to Game of Thrones in the Stormwind mage tower!”

Hermione blinked as the gnome ran through the ‘portal’ and vanished rather than just running through the graphics like what should have happened. “Xander!”

“Oops?” Xander asked unrepentantly.

“We should probably get out of here before they shut the server off,” Noelle pointed out.

Mist pulled himself back together. “Okay, we should have at least 15 minutes because they normally warn people about server shutdowns.” He turned and looked at the wizard trainer and scanned him. He smiled at the mage trainer blueprint that popped up. “I just picked up a mage trainer blueprint.”

Dawn smirked. “In that case, let’s find the local dungeon then we can scan the auction house and pick up anything interesting.”

Albus asked, “How badly is this going to mess things up?”

Sin frowned. “Considering adventurers in this world lack a survival instinct we should probably scan a graveyard to make sure they don’t die permanently.”

Willow asked, “Shouldn’t we warn her?”

“It’s not like she’d believe us. The best thing we can do is get our scans done as quickly as possible then leave.”

“How come no one noticed Westeros before?” Taylor asked.

“Because I had to unlock the portal in Westeros before we could get it to work. Either way, we should get going.”

Buffy asked, “Meet back here in twenty minutes assuming nothing goes wrong?”

Mist nodded. “If anything goes wrong, teleport to the companion housing and I’ll apparate back to the portal.” He turned and headed down the ramp that lead out of the tower.

“This is going to be fun.” Faith grinned as she followed Mist.

Lily looked at James. “I have a bad feeling about this.”

Willow smiled as she grabbed Selena and Tara’s hands as she headed toward the ramp. “Let’s explore.”

Albus walked over to talk to one of the mages standing around. “What can you tell me about the tower?”

The trainer looked at Albus. “I’m sorry, I can only train mages.”

Albus raised his eyebrows. “I’m a magic user…” He trailed off as he realized that he wasn’t getting a reaction from the man. “There is something wrong with him.”

Fred laughed. “He’s a computer program.”

“Ah, and the short girl?”

“A gnome, I’m guessing she’s a player character which means that someone is or at least was sitting behind a computer controlling her.”

“How are we supposed to tell the difference?” Albus asked curiously.

“Player characters generally don’t move in straight lines and have a tendency to say things that don’t make sense in the context of a medieval fantasy setting. Let’s head out of the tower and see what we can find.” Fred led the rest of the group out of the tower.

Mist coughed as he looked at the auction house. “49,999 fucking gold for the dragon elixir.” He sighed as he realized that he was going to have to pay the overly inflated price tag unless he wanted to wait an unknown amount of time for someone else to put the elixir on the auction house. He caught the attention of the auctioneer. “I’d like to buy the Vial of the Sand.”

The auctioneer said, “Excellent, that will be 49,999 gold.”

Mist grumbled slightly as he opened his invention and started pulling out bags of gold. “Of course.” Normally he might have waited but he wasn’t sure how common the elixirs were and he had the gold thanks to Diablo and looting the church in Westeros. Besides, having the ability to hand out an elixir that gave people a dragon alt form was well worth the cost of the vial as far as he was concerned. He finished handing over the gold then collected the extremely expensive elixir. ‘I wish I could have gotten this on my character but such is life.’

He stuck the vial in his inventory then duplicated it four times. He used Let’s Give it a Boost to boost one of the vials to double the power and efficiency then put the upgraded vial in his inventory. ‘A bit of item world fun and I’ll have something worth handing out.’ He looked over the collection of items in the auction house to see if there was anything he wanted to grab. It didn’t take long to realize that most of the stuff was crap compared to what he already had though he wouldn’t mind transferring some of the more esoteric boosts off the high end gear to the group’s clothes/armor. He smiled as he saw an entire page of blue quality magic items that were rather cheap at three gold a piece. ‘That would give us more stuff to siphon.’ He gestured for the auctioneer then pointed at the selection of rather cheap items. “I want all of these armor pieces.”

“Of course,” replied the auctioneer.

Mist finished his business at the auction house then headed to the building that contained the local dungeon. He wasn’t all that surprised to see a translucent blue almost force field like wall over the entrance on the stairs. He scanned the dungeon entrance and was rather pleased to pick up an instanced area blueprint and a generic dungeon prison blueprint. He frowned slightly as he didn’t get a pattern for the Stockades. ‘I must have to beat the dungeon to get an actual pattern.’

Faith grinned as she walked up behind Mist. “Anything good?”

Mist turned to look at Faith. “Blueprints for an instanced area and a generic prison. I’ll probably have to defeat the dungeon to get a better scan or at least walk around it for a while.”

“No time like the present.” Faith smiled as she dashed toward the entrance to the dungeon.

Mist blinked as Faith entered the dungeon and vanished. He pulled out his phone and called Faith’s number. He sighed in relief as Faith picked up on the second ring. “Are you alive?”

“Obviously, get in here so we can have some fun.” Faith ended the call then put her phone away.

Mist put his phone back in his pocket then entered the dungeon. He scanned the prisoners he could see at the end of the hall and wasn’t surprised to get an unlock for a crazy prisoner. He raised his right hand and tossed a fireball at the prisoners. He smiled as the flames cleared revealing the three ‘dead’ prisoners rather than three charred corpses. “I could get used to running game dungeons.”

Faith snorted. “To hell with dungeons, we have enough people for an actual raid.”

Mist shook his head. “We also have Arya and Daenerys, I don’t think they’re durable enough to survive raiding.”

“That’s why we have contractors for enhanced durability or the Nezzla orbs enchantment,” Faith replied with amusement.

“I guess you have a point,” Mist admitted as he started walking down the hallway. “Let’s finish crushing the dungeon so I can try to get a blueprint then we can head to a raid.” He wanted to hit a couple of the old dungeons in addition to a few raids because one of them had what amounted to a magical tattoo lockout that he wanted to scan and some of the old dungeons had monsters in them that were flat out immune to certain elements which he wouldn’t mind having for minions..

0o0o0

Faith looked away from the entrance to the old tower and back at the group that had decided to check out one of the easier to get to raids. “Do we have a plan that doesn’t include us dying?”

Mist snorted. “We’re not going to die from Karazhan or at least I’m not planning on it.”

Arya shook her head. “That doesn’t fill me with confidence.”

“Me either,” Daenerys admitted as she absently adjusted her magical armlet that was supposed to keep her safe as long as she didn’t break the two rubies in it. “How sure are you that the armlets will keep us safe?”

Mist opened his mouth to answer then closed it when a portal opened in front of the dungeon and a female night elf in bright red and gold robes stepped out of the portal. He activated his identification power and looked at her staff. “Atiesh, Greatstaff of the Guardian… damn.” He scanned the staff and smiled as he got a blueprint for the staff. He frowned as he brought the blueprint up on his HUD and saw the rather insane requirements to create the staff.

The night elf giggled then said, “It took forever to get the damned thing back in the day. How come your level reads ???”

Noelle spoke up, “Because we’re test characters.”

“Oh cool. I’m just killing the horsemen to see if I can finally get the mount to drop.” The night elf swapped her staff for a dagger. “Are they going to create a heroic version of Kara?”

“We’re just testing some new resistance gear.”

“God I hated farming resistance gear back in the day. Best of luck, I guess.” The night elf turned and walked through the door.

Fred turned to look at Mist. “You realize that your luck perk is bullshit, right?”

Mist laughed. “Considering that I’ve only seen three or four people with that staff, ever? Yeah, I’m fairly sure my luck perk is responsible…” He trailed off as a small group of horde characters rode into the small clearing around the cursed tower on large armored wolves. He scanned the mounts and characters, picking up hunter, troll, wolf and shaman patterns to add to his growing collection of class, mount and race information. “We should probably get in the dungeon before they decide to attack us or report us.”

Xander frowned at the group of horde characters making funny faces at them. “Probably a good idea.”

Noelle said, “I bet we can take them.”

Leet shook his head. “Nah, player characters don’t drop loot in this game.”

Uber snorted. “In that case, fuck it. Let’s hit the dungeon.” He walked through the door and into the dungeon.

Arya wasn’t sure why the alliance and the horde were fighting, she was just glad that the group didn’t attack them as they entered the dungeon. She’d been on a couple of adventures with Elsa and dealt with plenty of people over her travels but this world had some seriously dangerous warriors and magic users that she didn’t want to mess with until she had better defenses.

Buffy watched the horde as the rest of the group other than Mist entered the dungeon. “Ready?”

“Go for it.” Mist waited until Buffy entered the dungeon then followed her. He was just glad that the horde hadn’t attacked them because that would have resulted in a GM ticket after he killed them. “Now that we’re here, let’s have some fun.”

Hermione looked at Tiffany and Fred then back at Mist. “Do you want offense or defense?”

Mist glanced over the other twenty four people he’d brought, other than Daenerys and Arya they all had access to some decent offensive spells or enhanced physical abilities. “Let’s start with defense. Just because we have nezzla’khan orb enchantments on our angel guard armlets doesn’t mean we shouldn’t stack the deck for defense. We can always readjust if we’re not killing things fast enough.”

Harry spoke up, “Between Tara and I, I think we have the offensive damage covered.”

Tara nodded. “Agreed.”

“Sounds good, I’ll work on learning spells from the various casters if I can.” Mist glanced at Tiffany, Hermione and Fred then over at Tara and Harry. “Let’s get the people that can do the most damage the defense boosts because this game has a tendency to try to kill the people doing the most damage and Noelle and I don’t have any magical taunts to keep the monsters from trying to kill the rest of you.”

Noelle turned and headed toward the left to check on the undead they needed to kill.

Daenerys shivered slightly as she thought about the monsters they were going to be fighting. “Any suggestion on how I’m supposed to help?”

Arya said, “Use your bow and try not to shoot anyone in the back.”

“That sounds a little dangerous,” Daenerys replied as she accepted a bow and quiver from Mist.

Xander chuckled as he heard crunching sounds coming from the room that Noelle entered. “We’re durable enough that you can’t really hurt us with the arrows.”

Buffy rolled her eyes. “Try to avoid hitting us as it’s a bad habit for later but don’t worry about it too much right now.” She smiled as she headed into the next room to help Noelle.

Mist stared in shock as a pair of bracers, gauntlets and a set of reins appeared out of thin air as both halves of Attumen the Huntsman slid apart and fell to the ground as the horse vanished out from under him. “I think I’ve only seen the reins drop half a dozen times in all the years I tried to get the mount.”

Dawn snickered. “I’m blaming your luck perk for it dropping the first time.”

Arya scanned the scanned the reins and was rather surprised to get a pattern for an item that gave people a magical ability to summon a particular type of mount and a pattern for a nightmare. “My father’s knights would kill for an ability like that. I have a stables blueprint that can sort of do the same thing but it requires the stables for the trinkets to work.”

Mist smiled at Arya. “Sweet, I’d love to buy a copy of that pattern.”

Arya smiled as she thought about her armlet and the rest of the gear Mist had given her. “I don’t mind doing some trading when we’re done with the dungeon.”

“Now where?” asked Dawn as she glanced around.

“To the dining hall to kill an undead rogue and his friends. After that, it’s up to the Maiden of Virtue who I’m hoping to get a scan of as she uses a lot of holy spells. After that, we clear our way to the opera event and hope we get something interesting. After that, there’s an arcane abomination boss that I wouldn’t mind scanning to see if we can unlock an arcane immunity.” He wasn’t all that worried about the rest of the dungeon though he’d love to copy the flame wreath spell of the Shade of Aran just for shits and giggles.

Mist looked down at the pair of bracers and the gauntlets. “Should I just toss the gear in a bag?”

Hermione said, “You might as well, we cut through everything easily enough and there are better magic items for sale in the auction house.”

Mist picked up the gear and stuck them in a bag in his inventory. He wanted to try to boost the reins before he handed out copies. “Let’s see how fast we can kill the next couple of bosses.”

0o0o0

Mist looked up from turning Prince Malchezaar’s head into hamburger as a voice shouted, “15 minutes to server reset!”

Dawn glanced around the rooftop they found themselves on. “Time to leave.”

Mist pocketed the knife that dropped off the boss as well as a curious glowing ball of light that he didn’t remember ever seeing in the game. He blinked as he realized that it would teach him how to summon a pet that could fight other pets. “Sweet, a battle pet.”

Xander snorted. “Cheer about it later, we need to run.”

Mist jumped slightly as his phone rang. He pulled it out of his pocket, glanced at the caller ID then answered it, “Lily?”

Lily asked, “Is it safe to open a door? We found a portal to another world, I’d rather not be here when the server resets.”

“Go for it, we just killed the last boss.” Mist ended the call after a door appeared that lead to a forested clearing where the rest of the group was standing in front of a glowing green portal. He stepped through the door then out of the way so the rest of the group could walk through the door in thin air. “Any idea where it goes?”

Lily turned her attention to Mist rather than the group of people walking through the door. “It takes us to an alley behind a bar in a modern looking world.”

“In that case, let’s go,” Mist replied as he ran toward the portal. He blinked as he went through the green portal and landed in an alley. He frowned slightly as he turned and saw a vaguely familiar looking door that he could sense magic on the other side of. His jaw dropped as he used his X-ray vision eyes to look through the door and saw a group of familiar characters standing around a bar. “Lost Girl… I’m going to have to thank Genie for setting this up.”

Dawn asked, “Lost Girl?”

“Like the normal world only with fae running around in secret,” Mist replied absently as he watched the bartender turn and look in their direction.

“What type of fae are we claiming to be when they ask us?” Willow asked curious how Mist wanted to play things.

“We should probably just claim to be magic users.” Mist sighed in relief as everyone made it through the portal.

Lily closed the door to the forest. “Does this mean you know where we are?”

“I have a good idea where we are, just when not when...” Mist trailed off as a brown haired slender man opened the door and glared at the group.

The man said, “We’re closed.”

“Why are you closed?” Faith asked.

“We’re currently trying to deal with Hades,” Dyson replied with some annoyance.

Buffy blinked. “Wait, you’re having problems with a god?”

“He’s not a god, he’s an ancient.”

Fred asked, “What’s the difference?”

Mist shrugged. “Scale of power.”

Dyson glared at Mist. “You know about him?”

“Sure, he wants to use Bo to take over the world and raise an army of the dead, more or less at least.”

Selena looked at Mist. “We’re going to have to kill him aren’t we?”

“Either that or drop him off in a different dimension.”

Dyson opened the door. “Come in and sign in.”

Mist smiled slightly as he walked in and looked around the Dal Raita. He smiled as he spotted Kenzi and Bo at the bar along with Trick. “Greetings and salutations.”

Bo looked over the large group of people that walked into the Dal. She could feel power almost rolling off of most of them. “What are you?”

Mist smiled at Bo. “I’m a Builder and a magic user.”

Trick frowned slightly as he looked at Mist. “One of those.”

Dyson shivered slightly as he looked over the group. He’d met the occasional Builder before though not for many years. “What brings you here?”

“Chance, fate and a portal,” Lily answered the man’s question.

Bo asked, “Light or dark?”

Mist shook his head. “We don’t take sides, it depends on who we work for.”

Kenzi asked, “What is a Builder?”

“Builders build things. If you need magical gear, a dungeon to explore or an army to defeat a god a Builder can probably help you out.”

“You can help us beat Hades? How much?”

Sin grinned at Kenzei. “Oh, I like her. How about we get to watch you and the other succubus?” She licked her lips as she glanced between Bo and Kenzi.

“Other succubus?” Kenzi asked warily.

Sin pointed at Bo. “I can almost feel the sex coming off her.”

“We’re not… ah, that is, help me out here Bo?” Kenzi looked at Bo.

“If they can help, I wouldn’t object.” Bo smirked at Kenzi.

Trick coughed. “As horrifying as this conversation is, how much help can you provide against Hades?”

Lily said, “We should be able to banish him to a place where people can kill him or at least contain him without too much trouble.”

Tara looked up at Mist. “We’re going to help, right?”

“With Hades, sure, but I do reserve the right to charge her for turning her into a magic user,” Mist replied with a touch of amusement.

Kenzi blinked in surprise. “Wait, that’s possible, permanently?”

Trick spoke up, “I’ve heard stories about Builders being able to bestow certain magical abilities but pinning them down on exactly what they can do is hard.”

Dyson asked, “How much?”

“We don’t normally sell our services for gold or coin. You probably have nothing I want but I hear you’re decent with a blade. After we deal with Hades, we can certainly have a match and see if your skill buys you something of interest.”

Kenzi looked at Trick. “How badly is this going to screw me?”

Sin snickered. “That depends entirely on how enthusiastic your friend gets.”

Hermione shook her head. “Save your jokes for after we defeat the ancient fae godlike being.”

Bo said, “If you help me rescue my friend, I’m sure we can come to some type of agreement.”

Willow spoke up, “Do you have anything that belonged to your friend so we can cast a locator spell?”

“I have her coat in the back, I’ll grab it.” Trick turned and walked into the backroom to grab the coat.

“Thanks.” Mist looked at Dyson. “How do you feel about armlets?”

Dyson asked, “Why?”

“Because you’re excellent in a fight and I have some magical armlets that should help keep you alive against Hades.”

Bo asked, “How many do you have?”

“Half a dozen,” Mist admitted as he made a couple more copies of his enhanced angel guard armlet so that Bo, Kenzi, Dyson and Trick could have an armlet to keep them safe and an extra for when they found Tamson.

Kenzi asked, “Not to look a gift horse in the mouth but why help?”

“Because we’re heroes,” Harry answered with amusement.

Victoria asked, “How hard do we have to hit Hades?”

Amelia snorted as she looked at her girlfriend. “You missed the part about him being a god didn’t you?”

“In other words, as hard as I can?” Victoria asked happily.

“Sure, let’s go with that,” Amelia replied with exasperation.

Kenzi asked, “Names?”

James glanced over at the short bartender as he came back with a long coat. “I’m James. Let’s get that sorted while Willow and Tara find your friend’s location.”

Trick put the coat on the counter. “I’m Trick the proprietor of the Dal Raita.”

“Dyson,” Dyson spoke up gruffly right before the door exploded in and Hades stepped into the Dal.

Mist turned to look at Hades and scanned him. He frowned as he was unable to get anything other than gibberish. “You must be Hades. I don’t suppose I can talk you into peacefully leaving the world?”

Hades snorted. “I’m afraid not.” He gestured at Mist and frowned when nothing happened. “Interesting, what are you?”

“A magic user,” Mist replied as he activated his absorption eyes and focused on Hades. “Grab him and drain him!”

Noelle lurched forward and slammed her fist into Hades’ head as hard as she could which sadly didn’t actually do enough damage to matter much to her shock.

Arya stumbled back as she watched the group try to drain the powerful being to death. “Shit.”

Harry grabbed Hades and started siphoning his power as did the rest of the group that had siphoning and could reach him.

Bo stared as the group mobbed Hades. She doubted it would work but she was hopeful.

Tiffany raised her hand and yanked Hades off his feet and held him in place with her omega level telekinesis as the group worked on draining him while he struggled.

Hades screamed in frustration as he tried and failed to kill the people that were draining his magic away. The worst part was that he couldn’t move as the people holding him were impossibly strong and durable. He screeched as Dawn slammed her fist into his testicles.

Buffy winced slightly then continued punching him as the group worked on draining his power.

Kenzi stared as Hades thrashed and screamed as the group worked on pummeling him to death. “Shit.”

Trick stared in shock as they managed to keep Hades contained and reduce him to a wreck of his former self. “Bo!” He slid a dagger over the counter toward Bo.

Bo picked up the dagger, charged her father then stabbed him in the chest when several people moved out of her way so she had a decent shot. She was rather relieved when the wound bled profusely and he screamed in agony. She stumbled back as the group of strangers worked on killing her father.

Mist pushed his magic into his eyes to keep Hades from using magic on the group as they worked on draining him to death. Considering everything this version of Hades had done, he didn’t feel guilty about killing him. Sadly he had a feeling it would take a decent amount of time to kill Hades by draining him but they had over thirty people with siphoning which meant they could afford to swap out when someone approached the limit for the amount they could safely drain at once.

0o0o0

Bo stared at her father’s headless corpse. “How sure are you that he won’t be back?”

“I trapped his soul in a gem, he shouldn’t be back at least not anytime soon.” Mist was fairly sure that Hades wouldn’t be coming back at all but he was planning on completely draining and destroying his body once they had a chance to process the magic they’d already absorbed. Now that we’re done dealing with Hades, do you have any requests?”

Trick looked around at the wrecked tables and shattered chairs. “Fix the bar? I’m not going to be picky because you helped kill Hades but if you’re volunteering?”

Albus pulled his wand out of his sleeve and flicked it at the damaged tables and chairs which caused them to reassemble themselves without a scratch on them. “There, that should do it.”

Kenzi stared at the young man that had just repaired everything with a wand. “Sweet, can you teach me how to do that?”

“I can certainly give you a few pointers if Mist decides to give you magic.”

Dyson shivered slightly as he looked at the group of strangers that had to all appearance killed Hades. “That’s it?”

Xander laughed. “We came, we saw and we kicked ass.”

“Hell yeah,” Faith replied as she walked over to the bar. “I need a drink, do you take gold?”

Trick grinned. “Of course but the first couple of rounds are on me.”

Faith was looking forward to spending a couple of weeks getting to know the rather tall warrior and succubus. “Scotch on the rocks.”

“Coming right up.”

Willow picked up Tamsin's coat and walked over to one of the tables to cast her locator spell so they could find Tamsin. She wasn’t sure how she was going to keep Tamsin alive through her pregnancy but figured there had to be a way that wasn’t too dark.

0o0o0

Kenzi stared at Mist. “That’s it? I have to kiss Bo?”

Mist pulled his attention off Bo who was sitting in a chair getting a shoulder massage from Buffy. “What were you expecting?”

Kenzi looked over at Sin who was hugging Dawn from behind with a smile on her face. “Depraved sex at the very least considering some of Sin’s suggestions.”

Sin snickered as she reached up and cupped Dawn’s breasts. “We do seem the type, don’t we?”

Dawn rubbed her behind against Sin. “Joking aside, we don’t trade things for sex though if you or Bo wanted to strip down and dance on the table, I certainly wouldn’t object.”

Trick called out from the bar, “I would, the tables have suffered enough abuse lately.”

Kenzi looked at Bo. “In that case, permission to kiss you?”

Bo smiled at Kenzi, “You can kiss me anywhere you want.”

Abby snickered as Kenzi bounced over, bent down and kissed Bo on the lips. “Make sure you use plenty of tongue.”

Selena snickered as she reached over and lightly spanked Abby’s behind. “Behave.”

“Maybe later.”

Kenzi smiled at Bo as she stepped back. “Damn girl.”

Bo smiled at Kenzi. “Any time Kenzi.”

Dyson spoke up, “Now what?”

“Now we turn Kenzi into a magic user.” Mist dent his finger toward Kenzi. “Come over here and I’ll awaken your magic.”

Kenzi walked over. “What do I have to do?”

Mist held out his hand. “You take my hand and I show you the world.”

“Seriously?” Kenzi laughed as she grabbed his hand.

“Something like that.” Mist used his main character power to unlock Kenzi’s potential and give her a mana pool.

Kenzi shivered as a warm rush spread through her starting from her hand and finishing at the tips of her toes. “Woah, that was almost as good as kissing Bo.”

Mist pouted playfully as he let go of her hand. “Almost? I’d be offended but it’s Bo.”

Dyson spoke up, “That’s it?”

“Nah, that’s just the first step.” Mist pulled a holy fire spell book out of his inventory and handed it to Kenzi. “Here, read it.”

Kenzi grinned as she accepted the book. “Please tell me that I can learn that trick with pulling things out of thin air?”

Trick muttered, “Great, just what we need.”

“It’s on the list of spells I’m planning on sharing,” Mist admitted.

Dyson asked, “Would any of the spell books work for the rest of us?”

Mist glanced at Bo then at Trick. “Bo and Trick could probably get them to work without drinking a bunch of magic elixirs but I don’t really have a problem copying enough elixirs to get the girls started.”

“Do you have a way to keep a valkyrie alive?” Tamsin asked as she waddled out of the back room with Tara.

Mist turned and looked at the heavily pregnant woman. “We can start with an elixir to cure curses, give you death magic protection and finish with a protection spell. If that doesn’t work, I’ll just bring you back to life.”

Tamsin raised her eyebrows. “That’s an option?”

“Sure.”

Kenzi asked, “How long can they have been dead?”

“I wouldn’t try to bring someone back that has been dead for centuries but other than that, I mostly just need a body, why?” Mist was fairly sure that she’d ask about bringing Hale back from the dead but he didn’t want to admit that he knew more about her than he really should.

“I lost my boyfriend recently…” Kenzi admitted.

“I can’t guarantee anything but we can certainly try once we’ve gotten your magic skills up to a reasonable level.”

Dyson asked, “Risks?”

“Worst case it doesn’t work.”

Tamsin shuffled over and leaned up against the bar. “How much would it cost to talk you into upgrading Bo’s apartment?”

“I’d consider it a service to the world,” Mist admitted cheekily.

Bo rolled her eyes, “It’s not that bad.”

Kenzi snorted. “It could stand some walls Bo Bo.”.

“If you’re offering.”

Kenzi asked, “How do I use this?” as she held the book up.

“Just open it, it’s magic.” Mist smiled as Kenzi opened the book and it vanished.

Kenzi blinked as she realized that she knew how to cast a spell that created a ball of holy fire. She raised her hands and cast the spell at the metal door. “Sweet!”

Trick shouted, “Hey!”

“Don’t worry, it only damages evil creatures,” Kenzi replied.

Buffy spoke up as she continued massaging Bo’s shoulders, “It works rather well on undead. It’s also useful for scaring people.”

Kenzi looked at Dyson. “Are undead a thing?”

“Not in this world but I’ve heard tales,” Trick admitted.

“What do you want the house to look like?” Mist asked curiously.

Bo shifted her shoulders. “That feels good but you should probably stop before I melt.”

Buffy grinned as she stopped massaging Bo’s shoulders. “I sort of like it when Sin melts.”

“Right, what are our options for the house?” Bo asked.

Tamsin snickered. “Nice way to change the subject.”

“We can certainly add some space and fix the walls.” Mist figured the girls could spend a couple of days upgrading the house after making sure that Bo actually owned it then head back to the land north of the wall in the Game of Thrones world and build a twisted messed up dungeon for people to explore.

Hermione scowled slightly as she stunned another angry and pissed off Druid. “I’m starting to hate his tree hugger flaw…” She trailed off as a large angry looking tree ‘walked’ into the clearing. “Shit…”

Dennis looked away from where the group was working on building a massive black stone tower and over at the lumbering tree. “Less complaining, more fire!”

Egwene pulled in a large torrent of the power and wove a net of hardened air around the tree’s various limbs. “Is it alive?”

Tara called out, “Yes, don’t kill it!”

Hermione spun and cast a shield as she caught a flicker of something out of the corner of her eye. She pushed more energy into her shield as a large rock golem slammed a fist the size of her chest into her shield. “A little help here.”

Beth flicked her wand at the golem and transfigured the center rock into mud which caused the golem to fall apart. She sent a stunner at the druid she saw in a tree then conjured an air mattress to catch the man as he fell out of the tree. She spun around and send a blast of fire at a moving mass of blackberries that rolled out of the woods.

Fred smiled as she set the last stone on the top of the tower. “That should do it.”

Harry yawned as he floated back from the completed tower. “Good, maybe the druids will stop trying to kill us.”

Mist glanced away from the tower and over the clearing near the portal that led to the World of Warcraft game world. “At least the shell is done, now it’s just a matter of placing various traps, chests and monsters.”

Arya spoke up from where she was sitting on Sin’s flying carpet, “Which hopefully won’t attract too much attention from angry druids and elementals.”

Taylor floated over and landed on the top of the tower. “That went better than I was expecting.” She turned to look at Mist. “Are you going to test out the tower?”

Mist frowned as he thought about stepping into a scaling dungeon without the safety net of a MMO style graveyard. “I might test it with an avatar but it’s a scaling dungeon. I’d rather not go splat if I can help it.” He scanned the dungeon entrance and smiled as he unlocked scaling dungeons.

Sin said, “Speaking of flaws, we should copy the druid before he vanishes. He could be a lot of help against the White Walkers.”

“Point, you have the spell you got from Noelle’s materia, go crazy.”

Arya snorted. “Why do I suddenly almost feel some tiny sliver of sympathy for the Others?”

Sin snickered as she directed the flying carpet toward the unconscious druids. “Because we’re going to fuck them up.”

Egwene released the tree now that it didn’t seem to be trying to kill them. She frowned slightly as it appeared to be nothing more than an oak tree. “Now what?”

Mist floated down toward the ground. “Let’s eat lunch then we can start staffing the tower with monsters and figure out how to hand out keys for the tower so that the adventurers can explore it.”

Tara turned to look at Mist. “We should probably build a World of Warcraft graveyard close by unless you want a bunch of characters getting corrupted or having to run all the way back from a graveyard near Stormwind.”

“Let’s give it a couple of hours for the various druids and protestors to wander off and vanish,” Mist replied as he pulled a folding chair out of his inventory and set it up. He took a seat then pulled a container of chocolate ice cream out of his inventory.

Arya watched as Sin created a naked copy of the unconscious druid that was sprawled on the ground. “I don’t suppose you’d trade that spell?”

Sin turned and smiled at Ayra. “I’d be happy to trade spells for blueprints.”

“Sounds good.” Arya didn’t mind trading blueprints for spells, none of her blueprints were all that impressive and some of the spells they had were rather interesting.

Egwene glanced over at Arya wondering how long the other girl would travel with them.

Kenzi grinned as she reached over, grabbed her drink and took a drink. She wasn’t sure what the glowing blue stuff was but it certainly took the edge off which was probably just as well considering the number of naked people that were enjoying the pool area in Mist’s pocket warehouse. Even spending the last couple of weeks wandering around Westeros and the World of Warcraft world with his crew hadn’t really prepared her for Sin’s pool party. The clothes had come off and various people had paired off for sex, never mind that the rest of the people could see them. She glanced over at Bo and Beth who were sliding against each other thanks to the whipcream that Laura had squirted over their naked bodies. Maybe it was the alcohol talking but Bo was damned sexy as were the rest of the group. She pulled her gaze off her naked best friend and back to the girl she was sitting across from. “Is it always like this?”

Vista glanced over at where Willow, Selena and Abby were ‘grinding’ their whipcream covered bodies against each other then looked back at Kenzi. “Only occasionally, we’re normally busy working on projects.”

Riley snickered as she looked away from watching Xander fuck Buffy from behind while Cordelia played with Buffy’s breasts. “It’s nice to see everyone having a good time through.” She turned her attention back to Xander.

Kenzi asked, “If you don’t mind my asking, how many of the group have you?”

“How many have I had sex with?” Riley asked with a touch of amusement.

“Yeah.”

“Mist, Dennis, Xander and all of the girls other than Arya and Daenerys at least once.” She glanced over at where Tara was giving Daenerys a backrub on a lawn chair. “I’m hoping to talk Daenerys into it at least once.”

Vista grinned as she glanced over at Arya who was swimming in the pool naked. “I wouldn’t mind fucking Arya.”

Riley mock glared at Vista. “Pottymouth.”

Vista stuck her tongue out at Riley. “Mostly I just ask Mist, Dennis or Sin when I need some attention. Speaking of attention, what’s the deal with Dyson? Is he up for grabs or would Bo freak?”

Kenzi put her hands up, “I’m not touching that. Bo and Lauren sort of broke up over Lauren using herself as a test subject and sort of didn’t. Dyson, is sort of on and off again with Bo which means he’s not really looking for anything and Bo Bo is still succubus.”

“I’m half surprised that you didn’t invite Hale now that he’s not dead.”

“He’s a siren, I wouldn’t want someone to kill him for flirting. Besides, he’ll be here eventually.” Kenzi took another drink.

“I doubt anyone would take a little flirting badly, other than maybe Lily and Laura,” Riley pointed out.

Kenzi snorted. “I might, there are a lot of attractive girls around.”

“You do realize that he’s going to cry when he realizes what he missed, right?” Bo asked as she walked over.

“Same with Dyson and Lauren,” Kenzi replied as she turned and looked at Bo then glanced away as Bo still wasn’t wearing anything other than whipcream and a smile. “Clothes…”

“Entirely overrated,” Bo replied cheerfully as she held her hand out toward Riley. “Do you want to dance?” She was trying to ignore her control freak maybe ex-girlfriend. She liked Lauren but she also liked having enough energy that she didn’t feel like she was starving which wasn’t something Lauren could provide on the best of days.

Riley giggled as she bounced up and accepted Bo’s hand. “Yes please.”

Kenzi gulped the rest of her drink as she watched Bo and Riley go through a couple of spins before it devolved into an excuse for the girls to fondle each other while they kissed. “I’m going to need another drink.”

Vista reached out and grabbed Kenzi another drink from the bar set up across the pool then handed it to her. “Here.”

“Nice trick.”

“Thanks.” Vista smiled as Dennis walked over with a smiling black man wearing a pair of shorts. “Looks like you found him.”

Kenzi blushed as turned and saw Hale and realized that he’d just caught her staring at Bo and Riley dancing/grinding with each other. “Welcome to the party.”

Hale grinned as he looked down at Kenzi’s red bikini. “I like red.”

“Thanks.”

Vista glanced between Hale and Kenzi then looked at Vista. “Do you want to dance?”

Dennis pulled his attention off Riley and Bo. “Sure, that would give these two lovebirds time to enjoy the scenery.”

“I’m not… okay, maybe a little,” Kenzi admitted as the three of them gave her looks of disbelief. She wasn’t sure what was wrong with her but Bo looked damned sexy playing with Riley.

Vista grinned as she let Dennis lead her over to the area they’d left clear for dancing.

Hale glanced around the pool area. “I could get used to this.”

“At least for a few more months,” Kenzi agreed. She’d be sorry to see the group go when they left even if they were perverts or at least exibitionists. Still, they’d given her magic so she couldn’t complain.
