So while Elden Ring captured my inspiration at the start of the month, for the week or two after that i've been seriously exploring blender for the first time. I've watched a buuuunch of tutorials and i think i'm finally getting the hand of how to use the space you're given, and the way to manipulate things to your advantage, in a basic level at least.

I started off with the donut, as i'm sure most people do, and branched out from there. I made a bouncing cup, a spinning coin, I remade my entire Wintech logo in 3D which you can see here, and I made starts on the repair shack but naturally i had to give modelling my own sona a try.

It's a lot of work and it's a bit a different skill set than i'm used to with 2d art, but damn it if Blender's not entirely addictive - once you know how to actually get around the program that is. For sure Blender has a brick wall for a doorway. Here's hoping it starts to pay off. It's a tonne of fun.

I'm currently in the process of retopologising Winty to make the mesh a bit more computer friendly, and after that is done i'll be texturing and rigging for animation baby! (i'm also experimenting with a low poly PS1 era winty as well, but that one is taking a back seat until i get the high def boy done!)

Suffice it to say this blows the possibilities for what I can offer out of the water if i can get it right, so i'm excited as hell to share all this.

I could maybe stream my learning process if anyone was interested? I dunno just yet though. Let me know ^-^
