I remember first using this OC in an RP called “Rising” in which he played mentor to Connor Kassien before his greed and desire to be a legend led him to betray his pupil and brother. Years of rivalry with Connor passed before Jack’s new dark faction betrayed him right back and beat him within inches of his life. But, after being nursed back to health by someone who refused to give up on him, Jack had an epiphany of what a piece of shit he'd been and determined to make amends. When Connor got into a rough spot during an explosive battle scene, Jack stepped in and rescued him in what had to be the most dramatic manner possible. But, in order to do that scene justice, we gotta start with Mr. Fielding again so you understand his story. Unfortunately he's not as simple as our Napoleon complex schoolgirl Kei or studious young Mulan.
