Description
The hive doesn't rely solely on the swarm for its sustenance, as a living organism it also fends for itself. Miles long, appendages burrow out from the hive to lay in wait just beneath the surface in deserts and plains. Referred to as Hive Horrors by the locals, these mouthed and clawed extensions of the hive will grasp any unaware creature and drag them back through the long tunnels for digestion in the heart of the hive.
