Make kissing feature 8 (Patreon)

Now, the graphics are done, so let's move on to the audio processing. This is one of the kiss sounds by Yuduki-san that haven't used so far, but the kissing function has become different from what I had originally planned and I can't use it as is. So I'll edit them and use free materials for the rest like the short kiss sounds.

I'll use Audacity, a waveform editor for the work. It's very grateful such a tool is available for free. Thank you!

This is the original sound of a short kiss, but the level is quite low, so I'll adjust the volume using a compressor, and finish it off applying a noise reduction filter.

The waveform was finished like this. As shown in the top image, the less headroom (space above and below), the better the sound with higher S/N ratio (less noise), but I set the level considering the overall balance.
BTW, I think that sound effectors modifying the volume like compressors/limiters are the most difficult to use. If used carelessly, they can easily destroy the original sound. I often see flattened or distorted sounds in commercial video productions and games.

Also, in the next update, I plan to discontinue the PCM (high quality) sound format and only use mp3. This is because adding the updater requires twice as much data size, and this will cause a size limitation on Patreon.
Instead, I'll increase the sound quality to the highest mp3 output possible. Below is a comparison of PCM (wav) and the new mp3.
