MxR Plays June Uncensored Reactions (Patreon)

Hey everyone,

Recently an employee who is in charge of uploading to the channel made a mistake and uploaded the wrong version of something resulting in a strike. This was not an editor's mistake, it was a management mistake.  We will speak more about it in a video on MxR Plays once the strike has lifted.  Obviously we have not been in the best of moods as a result, so we will be taking a break from creating videos during this 2 week strike period.  For now, we have an uncensored compilation of our past month's videos as well as some of our classic videos.

Don't comment much, but I watch every YT post. Maybe I'm a weirdo, but I like your interactions with Jeannie and Kai more than I care about the "content" of your reaction vids. I know what pays the bills, though. The way I figure it, you're going to do what you do, and I'll support as it continues to be interesting. Just a suggestion, though. If you're going to take a break, because your P Patreon and Twitch becomes your bread and butter, maybe post more content to those who are directly supporting you here (Patreon) and there (Twitch) while you're waiting for the strikes to clear. We like YOU, regardless of your content, and we'd like to see more of you, regardless of YT being a bunch of little strike-meisters. Keep on keepin' on, and get after it!

I normally don’t comment much but I just wanted to wish you well and to enjoy the break. It can be very stressful. Maybe when you guys come back don’t risk it too much on the thumbnail? I dunno, I just feel people will still love you and your channel will keep growing even if the thumbnail was pit black with stick drawings of you too! Stay safe!

Mistakes happen. At least give the person some form of compensation when you fire him or her. I say this because I have this gut feeling firing the person was the only option. Basic cause and effect. It is just the way. No second chances. You vandalize the Krewsade with a strike? Well, I remember a time when there was an inquisition each and every time MxR dealt with human error. Fortunately burning people at the stake for messing up wasn't cost effective. And policy eventually became humane..... a decade later.

You guys deserve a break for sure, you all work so incredibly hard. I'd echo some of the other folks, we all love your videos just for who you three, and guests are. You don't need to throw in spicy stuff Youtube side if that's what is getting the strikes, just stick with your bread and butter and save the spice for here. We Crusaders love our Panda Queen, Immersion Lord, and um...Snarky Sidekick? We need a title for Kai o.o

Sorry to have heard that happen, mistakes were made, Youtube should chill out. I mean why do they even have age restrictions, if doesn't matter because you end up getting a strike anyways, and gawd forbid they send a message prior to the strike. They should give you at least a chance to take it down if it was a mistake. All the money they make off your videos, and they can't take a min to say "hey are sure you want this up on your channel". Well you still my support. Take care guys.

I know. It was a lousy attempt at giving MxR shit for, "feeling awful" that they can't upload content for two weeks. They have a loyal crowd. YouTube isn't going anywhere and neither are their fans. I really thought that this time my silly response wouldn't be taken seriously. It's just funny. I am a semi-truck driver and it's an unforgiving profession. Content creators stressing out about this sort of thing is pretty snowflake.

Two weeks huh? After working 7 days a weeks for well, forever y'all deserve a vacay. Drag the always enjoyable and friendly Kai. I could tell from some of Jeannie's remarks that she's ready to get out of town so do it! And be careful when you get back the next one is Strike 3!

I can see why some might assume firing is reasonable, its a significant mistake in scope of damage. On the other hand, I'm reminded of Steve Harvey, who hosted the Miss Universe competition and read off the wrong name as the winner, and had to go out 30 seconds later and tell the celebrating woman she had not in fact actually won, and the other girl got it. :) If I recall, the pageant people actually had him back to host again, on the grounds that they otherwise liked how he handled things, it was a terrible but honest mistake, and he was now the least likely person on the planet to ever make it again. :)

I wish someone would make actual good competitor for Youtube where you have to proof your age before seeing anything and gather sponsors who do not cover in fear when something bit "adult" is seen or talked about on the video. Ofc there has to be monitoring always and keep the full blown porn and unwanted people (like racists, facists) off the site but that monitoring should be done by real people. There are millions of unemployed people who sit front of their computer all day, why not hire them to monitor videos by paying little bit per watched video (but not encouraging actual reporting). Anyway have a nice vacation and enjoy the summer, you guys are awesome!

Thanks for this. Enjoy the break. You may want to think about adding a bit more process to your upload jobs though. Think of making sure that several people need to screw up for something like this to happen again. Does not have to be complicated or cost a lot of time. But given the risks it may be a good idea.

Doesn't Korea already require social security info from all players in multiplayer games so they can monitor who plays what and that also is reason why there really are no cheaters there? And the moment you have logged into the web, your info is open for everyone already nowadays. Maybe it's time for someone start a company that handles "proofed age tags/tokens" that can be used on the net sites to proof own age. Heck we already have that in Finland atleast and it's called logging in with your bank info which require confirmation with phone app after sending credentials.

I dont get to take two weeks off work because "I'm not in the best of moods.". I honestly don't know why I even subscribe to you guys and give you money out of my paycheck from a job I have to go into and work a full eight hour day, five days a week. Regardless of how fucked the situation is there, with no regard to whether or not I'm in the best of moods. When other YouTubers and streamers but in actual work on their content and release videos day in and day out. I used to watch you all the way back when you were reviewing mods and now you just make low effort react videos and skate by hoisted on the backs of Jeannie's simp army. Fuck you guys. When you get a strike it causes your videos to be demonetized meaning the work you are putting in you are not getting paid for. Regardless of the job you have would you do it for free? Personally I wouldn't. Furthermore, mental health is a thing and some jobs, including my own thankfully, will give you time to get back in the right headspace before going back to work. Personally I enjoy the content that MXR puts out. I haven't really watched and of Jeannies streams myself though if I enjoy the content on there I might.

Sure, maybe they cannot post on youtube, but they definitely need to be more active on patreon. Paying for patreon just to get 10 minute video a month seems pretty wasteful. Its insane to me how more people are not speaking up, if this was some other big creator with thousands of patreon members I'm sure there would've been a backlash.

I do agree to some extent. If you are burned out or want to take some time off, that's normal. But the patrons overall should get a bit more attention and not only when YT sh!t happens. Maybe just change the membership details so we know we get 2 videos tops each month. Of which the compilation one probably takes an hour to make since most is already edited. Being a patron now feels like you're sending someone a heartfelt message and getting "k." as a response. I still love the MxR crew, but it feels a bit one sided sometimes.

Nah every strike is from and avoidable offense… and then they usually don’t even communicate with us unless someone finally asks about it in her twitch chat… Then they post a video with her crying to get our support… Just like with this, they got a strike, and now they won’t be uploading for half of a month of our subscription…… They could have continued to at least post one or two videos in order to not waste half of our subscription
