A Bit Of A Chat with Chris Hastings (Patreon)

So, here's the thing.

For ages, I had been hearing good things about a Marvel comic book series called THE UNBELIEVABLE GWENPOOL, written by a writer named Chris Hastings.

Because I am a putz, I never took the time to actually check it out. Come to find out, I was part of the problem, because after a 25 issue run, it was cancelled at the beginning of 2018.

A few weeks back, I decided to finally dive in and read it. And boy, was I late to a really great party, because the series is absolutely brilliant. Fun, funny, and meta without being annoying, it also (for most of its run) featured some incredibly appealing artwork from the Japanese collective Gurihiru.

Having fallen head over heels and singing its praises to anyone who would listen, I decided it would be fun to ask Chris to come on the show and talk about Gwenpool, and whatever else might come up in conversation. 

You know, as I do.
