*UPDATE May 25 - Good news: Ain't having critic system overheats anymore, Bad News, ADA cards are natively hotter. I need to to keep checking temps and adjusting stuff accordingly to room temperature so, most of the time I'm saving watts and heat by powering them down to keep high performance-per-watt - goddamn nvidia cards are not very power efficient anymore, a lot of the extra power on modern cards is wasted, this is why some 3D artists have cards cooked...

My new card is more stable despite of not being faster, not a bad deal, not the best, but it was all I could do ATM. I admit mistakes were made in my setup and I'm fixing them as I learn and improve the setup.

Release schedule seems on track, even the BPE for July has a draft prepared, with little growth because it will introduce the new scenario, had a lot of work assembling and fixing the scene while drafting, I won't be able to add more panels to it or schedule (and brains) will break.

Speaking of Brains, it is a little tired: last weeks were a lot o work dealing with CT4 remake and NCA 6 while checking a health issue: I've got a new inexplicable pain (haha fak me) that comes in and out, but the doc says I'm good so, maybe I'm just getting old. Next week I will use for brainless work like retouch and prepare the following NCA, so, I'll probably rest better and recharge creativity ;D

ORIGINAL POST: Hello everyone! It is labor day/day of the workers whatever you guys call it in your country and I wish you all are having a nice holiday (as long it is a holiday wherever you are). I don't look into common holidays anymore due to migrating to this model of business with weekly production schedule, but this schedule is manageable, so, important holidays and family calls are still in the track as healthily as possible.

Speaking about keeping things healthy, I'm doing my work here to keep healthy with some "hiccups" here and there, but it is all slowly progressing, so, I'll be optimistic on that and guess I'll be 100% in 10 months or so.

Not so healthy is this last heat wave that is striking and slowing the works a little - I was expecting to have lower temps this April - and this is forcing me to make a move forward, much earlier than expected, and the move won't be the planed one because I'm not prepared for it...

Luckily, my wonderful Patrons are not only keeping me afloat but pushing me forward - THANK YOU ALL FOR THE SUPPORT THIS LAST MONTH, you all did a big difference!

Meaning I'm going to adjust big things related to the performance/heat generation relation, desk layout, test a setup possibility, cleaning, and do AC maintenance. I'll probably lose some days of work, but the heat wave will stand thought the month and it would hurt the schedule big time.

It will be a problem solving move more than anything else: it is impossible to add MORE power now, so I'm focusing on the long term benefits by stabilizing everything and do some preparations for the next setup. It is better than going crazy and spend a lot for getting, IDK, only 50% more render speed... I prefer to be able to render at the same speed even on hotter days, it is enough for me.

Still, this month's releases are guaranteed to be delivered, I'll just be a little more tired and drained financially at the end of May, haha, but I'll be diluting it into the next months for sure.
