Unreleased Song #29: Grows (Patreon)

You guys know how much I love to write a custom song...

Amanda and Michael have THEE most epic love story which I learned about YEARS ago. When I met them, they weren't together, but they seemed DESTINED to reunite. I'd always look forward to updates on how they were doing at shows or via email. Their story is not mine to tell, so I'll just say that now they are married and have a precious 3 month old baby boy!! Yay!!! 

Years ago they would meet up for "dates" at my online shows and dedicate songs to each other. I feel lucky to have witnessed the evolution of their love over the years. 

In 2018, they donated to my Kickstarter for a custom song. It took literally years to write this song. I actually had written an entirely different one that unfortunately just didn't feel like them. When we scratched it and started over, they told me they were expecting a little one. It was the perfect addition to their epic love story, and obviously I could relate... so this song came pouring out. 

They were kind enough to allow me to share it here. I hope you enjoy!

The working title is "Grows" but it just seems like a weird title if you say it out loud. "Hey have you heard that song Grows?" It sounds like you're saying "Gross!". So maybe it'll be "My Love For You Grows". But that seems like it gives away the hook. HAHA - the internal thoughts of a songwriter. Open to ideas. :)
