Cover Song #13: Rain (Patreon)

Hello, hello!

To be honest, this is not the song I had planned on sharing with you for January 2022!

Yesterday, Patryk turned our living room into a moody music video set so we could film/record “Dare You to Move” by Switchfoot. It’s an epic rock ballad that I was sure would be the best way to kick off year 2 of cover songs… but upon hearing the audio today, I dared to DELETE it. Lol, but seriously. I do love that song, but I need to find a different key to sing it in. 😂 Maybe another time.

While the house was temporarily transformed, and the candles were still glowing, I also recorded one of my favorite Patty Griffin songs. Her music has been a huge part of my life. ‘Rain’ has inspired SO many of my own songs (as explained in the video). Thanks for listening!
