Back in the days of touring, I'd occasionally set my phone on the stage to record a live show. 

This live clip is from June 2014, when I toured with the great Aoife O'Donovan on the West Coast. 

Many of you know I love covering this Joni Mitchell classic, as it was part of my 2010 album 'Hot Loose Wire'. It was fun to explore it as a duo with Aoife. While this recording is far from perfect, let it be known that Aoife is a master of harmonies. She was touring solo after years of success with Crooked Still. She's now 1/3 of the Grammy Award–winning female folk group I'm with Her. Check out her music if you're not familiar.

So beautiful! It was because of Aoife O'Donovan that I was introduced to you on the West Coast tour in 2014. My brother, Marc, had bought tickets for Nancy and me to see Aoife with him at the Freight & Salvage. Nancy and I had been caring for her wonderful mom, Lois, in her final days. We were both exhausted so on the night of the concert, Nancy bowed out of going understandably. I still went with Marc although I was very tired too. But I perked up the moment you took the stage to open the show and I was totally blown away your performance! I've been a huge fan of yours ever since. So thank you to my brother for taking me to see Aoife but you stole the night for me! Love you Liz!!
