Short image sets VS pin-up's (Patreon)

From one of the latest post "Ruby x Maria [Image set]" I assume that most people are more interested in such content, where is some story, where things heat up and and etc. 

So, since I really enjoyed making this small image set, the question is:

• Should I continue making this kind of content?
• Should I really make bio for my characters? (Maybe even the whole world, where will be relationships, love, tragedies, cheating between the characters)

P.S. I need help with creating bios for my OC's
