All of you who have been with me for a while know that my biggest goal is always to make my maps and sceneries as accessible as possible and to provide you with the best possible quality to inspire your players. Over the last two years, we've managed to do that really well. This news post is about further improvements.

1. BROKEN LINKS AND TRANSFER ERRORS

Some users, especially those with unstable connections, have given us feedback that they sometimes have broken links, or files not transferred correctly. Moulinette itself is so robust and reliable that this was the majority of the few problem cases. To get these out of the world now as well, I've been working with Dorgendubal
from Moulinette and Blair from Scene Packer together. The result is a customized Moulinette infrastructure and further optimizations from Scene Packer. If you update both modules you will find that the transfer and installation speed is not only significantly faster, but that there will be (in theory) no, or very few, errors. We and some users who were particularly affected have already tested it very successfully!

2. SCENE PACKER FOLDER STRUCTURE
We have resolved an issue with Scene Packer where the chosen FoundryVTT folder structure for our releases was not being set up correctly, resulting in all handouts and PoIs journals being placed unsorted in the root folder. This will be fixed after updating Scene Packer!

3. ONGOING UPDATE OF ALL FOUNDRYVTT RELEASES

In the next few weeks, I will take care of all the releases available on Moulinette! This means I will implement your feedback and ideas, polish old maps, and possibly add new roof tiles for a more immersive 3D experience.

4. VOTING: HOW DO YOU LIKE THE SMALLER SINGLE MAP RELEASES SO FAR?
For this month, I've changed the approach. Instead of fewer large releases, I've been publishing smaller, distinct locations each week. This means that single map releases are individual places that can be easily incorporated into your own campaign without introducing and explaining a completely new location.

5. BENEOS TOKENS AVAILABLE FOR PATHFINDER 2E + MORE FEATURES

The big problem we have is that it is not possible to automatically transform DnD5E sheet into PF2E sheet. Here of course again the call, if someone is willing and has the time to help to translate tokens for the community into other systems we would be very happy about it!
But until then we will only use the animations, not the character sheets for Pathfinder 2E. The usability is still given!

We have added a super cool system independent feature that allows any DM to apply idle animations from any Beneos token to another token. Just right-click on the creature avatar in the future and choose a new one. For example, in Pathfinder you can now give the Beneos Goblins to the Goblins and still play with the original stats.

6. PREVIEW OF THE UPCOMMING MAP
A great advantage of the single map releases is that I can publish smaller environments without feeling guilty. The entire set of unoccupied "Curse of Strahd Reloaded" points of interest along DragnaCarta's Old Svalich Road are perfect for this, as each location (Ankheg Nest, Crumbled Chapel, etc.) can be used wonderfully anywhere else. Here are some pictures of the Crumbled Church, which will be released this week with a cool player introduction sequence as usual!

I love the single map release, since it's more usable in any game. But i also want sometime big release. CoS or not CoS related have not much importance for me, my campaign is almost finish and only left to do is completing the amber temple (my player are there right now), Argynvost heist, Berez and final fight. (I only wish for a rework of the castle for a more convenient final battle without all the level broke in multiple parts)

ALL of your future Barovian single release maps are listed here: https://www.reddit.com/r/CurseofStrahd/comments/13z4n2p/list_of_alternate_barovian_maps_which_are_needed/ :D

I've read about the dark carnival but I did not find any visual descriptions. How does it look like? What can players do there? What "attractions" do they offer?

It would be cool to get a dedicated Arasek Stockyard map and scenery, only part of Vallaki that is missing.
