We're back with some news!

Welcome back to another Wednesday, Ben's Day! This serves as a quick update on all the stuff we're currently working on and what to expect with the coming releases. And of course a poll to gauge what you guys are currently interested in!

1. BENEOS TOKENS

To work towards our vision of heaps of content connecting Tokens and Maps, we've tirelessly updated and reworked Beneos Tokens to drastically increase the quality and workflow of our Tokens. The Foundry v10 update and new technical possibilities have really inspired us and there are a few things we wanted to smoothen out to, as always, deliver the best content possible. Take a look at this massive Dragon we've released at the apex of Spooktober!

With everything up to date and in line, we're releasing our first Token Pack - dubbed the Goblin Raiding Rabble - early December! We're really looking forward to this release, as it will open the floodgate for more and more epic Token releases available outside of Patreon! Keep an eye out for some angry Goblins coming your way!

2. NEXT MAP

Take a stroll through a sunlit forest with the next Beneos Battlemaps release!
Modular maps always poll very strongly, so this time you'll get a bunch of maps which are all but impossible not to be able to include into a running campaign - a forest. A super HQ forest that is, available as a warm and welcoming day version, an unsettling night version and (if times allows for it) hopefully a seasonally appropriate winter variant.

Forests are nature's way of reminding humans that their superiority extends only as far as their city walls.

3. VIGIL'S END

We have not forgotten about Vigil's End, quite the opposite. We'd love nothing more than to just keep on working on this dream project of ours, but the regular releases of Maps and Tokens, as well as the major technical overhauls needed for Foundry v10, keep directing our attention and resources away from it. Furthermore, we're still working on it, we're still certain you're going to love it, and we are still putting everything we have into it! Thanks to you, the Community, and your detailed reports both Tokens and Maps are working so much better than when we originally planned to release Vigil's End, and we are really thankful for your patience and the opportunity to try and release the best experience possible! Updates on the progress will resume, and we are very eager to put it in your hands! And of course we did not forget our promise we made this summer when we released the Foundry Tier.

The village elder warned of the Wendigo, do you still dare to stray from the path?

4. FUTURE MAPS AND POLL

Map wise, we just want to keep on banging out places and environments capturing the spirit of adventuring and exploring! We want to create dense and immersive atmospheres to convey our vision to you and tell amazing storys together.

The coming map packs will fit into either of these three categories:

- Unique environments like Widowhall or Dourcrag Castle, places with rich history in our world - history that we can't wait to eventually explore together with future content!

- Creepy environments ripped straight from the Demiplanes of Dread, as well as more Homebrew locations in Barovia!

- Finally, modular sceneries usable in every campaign, like the coming forest or last month's jungle.

The last point is relevant for our poll this week:

Which Biomes or Environments would like for modular maps?

As always, thank you for participating!
We are always open for ideas and feedback - feel free to let us know your ideas in the comments, or head over to our Discord Server

Throwing in my vote for “Wild Beyond the Witchlight” maps!

The only way to top your Curse of Strahd maps would be to do something like the adventures in Tales from the Yawning Portal. Although a truly epic set would be Dungeon of the Mad Mage.
